Very nice job, lots of great detail. I'm new to the jeep world, just bought a 2016 JKU. Now that I'm semi-retired I plan on winters at my desert property in Texas. Lots of ideas to upgrade "Tanker Toy" with a military theme, just need to get the budget to match up with my wish list. LOL

I just updated my decals to make it more like an original WWII Jeep. Before, I had a large star on the door since it was like a large WWII truck. Since I have my doors off like 9 months out of the year, I decided to put stars aft of the rear tires like on my MB. I was able to do it on the driver's side because I have a fuel door, I like how it looks.

Looks good! I like the tire pressure stencils in the wheel wells too. That is a nice detail. When I respray my Jeep it is going to be somewhat military themed but with my own sense of humor mixed in. One thing i am going to do is stencil HouseHold 6 on the front windshield passenger side.

Sounds good, my wife's addition are the zombie outbreak response team stickers on each side behind the front fenders.

Thanks for the good words

I have several mods on my wish list to Santa. I'll post if/when I get them installed.

I got some Bartact seat covers (the old ones were about had it) and Ace front fender liners (tired of rocking the cut down factory liners) for Christmas.

I love my Trek Armor seat covers but over the last 4 years they've become faded and worn. I decided to get some new ones (they're Bartact now) and got them solid Olive Drab. Turns out it had to be a special order since I guess most everyone likes two tone covers. They didn't arrive until late January and I put them on a couple of weeks ago.

I think they turned out great and the OD fits the theme better.

I just realized I hadn't posted an updated pic with my Bestop sport bar covers. I think they're one of my better purchases.

Thank you, I love the Bartact

I got a good 4 years hard use out of the last set. If these do as well, I'll be happy.

I just ordered my half door jku the other day. Yours is one of the reasons I did. They just look so damn good. Nervous about someone stealing the doors but guess it comes with the territory.

I personally feel that is almost no chance of someone getting their doors stolen. For a more feeling of security you can get door hinge locks. I've seen them on line for a JKU from several place ranging from $27 all the way up to $67.

Yea I saw those too seems like the Jeepers Keepers are the best brand out there. Not sure they would actually work though. I've seen some people get aftermarket alarms which might be a good idea but probably not needed.

Since mine wont be a DD I figured I would just risk it. Probably something I could get used to over time.
