Default Lifetime Membership Questions

i would like to be a lifetime member. when i signed up to be a supporting member, i did not see an option to choose to be a lifetime member. is this something you have to be invited to do? if not, then how do i become one? also, how much is the cost? i used the search to try to find a thread on this but was unable to. sorry if this has already been covered.

The option of being a lifetime member is not available now. It was before the forum changed hands a while back. Those members you see with "lifetime member" purchased that membership before the switch of forum ownership.

They are not offering it currently as an option. Sorry.

No problem. I've been trying to get them to bring it back for a year now.

Maybe sometime in the future they will offer the lifetime membership again.

Yes distorted is correct about the Lifetime membership. Keep in mind though, the only way for me to ever drop my membership is to die. At least with the yearly memberships you guys have a chance to move on with your lives.

that would be sweet. the hubby became a lifetime member yesterday on jeepcommander.com. it seems a little easier. you don't have to worry about renewing. the only down side is that he is only going to live for another 27 more years. that's when it expires.

Don't worry I think Scout is going to die sooner than that. I believe we had set our lifetime memberships to expire in 20 years.

We've been considering opening these back up. But I think Tiny and Cain have 25 years left on their memberships.
