they're 35x12.5R17 MTR's w/Kevlar. Had to find a small shop to mount them. The big chains won't do it. They say they require an 8" rim and the stock wheels are 7.5 but I've had them on for a year now without issue.

3.5" Rock Krawler with 325/65-18. It'll sit perfect when I start adding armor since it sits a bit high in the front.

Arteggie - what kind of roof rack is that and how does it mount to the hardtop? Looks like it stays on the hard top even when u take the hard top off? Also, how much weight can it hold? Any info would be great. Thx.

It's MBRP: http://www.quadratec.com/products/12331_0006_07.htm (not that I'd necessarily buy it from here, I'm just showing what it is).
I love it. It actually attaches to brackets on the inside of the top that transfer the load down to the tub of the Jeep. The top itself doesn't really carry any weight. I also have the basket for it (there's a front section for it as well but I didn't opt for that part). It's rated at something like 350lbs driving weight and 700lbs stationary. There's a YouTube video somewhere of 5 or so big guys standing on top of one. It does come off when I take the top off. It actually acts like handles to help a little with removal but it does add weight. Totally guessing here but it probably adds 40lbs or so. I know some folks don't like that it comes off with the top but I actually do like that. If I've gotta carry around a bunch of camping or hunting gear I usually want my hard top on anyway.
Totally off the original topic. Sorry for the distraction...

You guys act like you don't know why tires measure a shorter height than the advertised tire size. Tire manufacturers advertise the diameter of the tire, and they are somewhat close, for the most part. But when you measure the height of your tires with them mounted on your Jeep you are not measuring the diameter of the tire. You are measuring the static loaded radius plus the radius, which is less than the radius x 2 (which is the diameter of the tire). Yes, you really should have known.

Might as well post a picture, since my Jeep has a 3" lift and 35" tires.

The best way to get a bigger tire is to but a bigger tire. My next set will be 37's.

The 3.25" is just 2.5" coils with spacers. The rc springs have the same spring strength as stock springs. There just taller. I'm going with RK because the springs are triple rate and really tall.

Add their front track bar and control arm drop brackets and you'll be set. If you don't like the shocks then you can always upgrade later to something different.

I'm curious if anyone with the 2.5" lifts running 35's and stock fender flares are having any issues with rubbing? I have a 3.5" lift with 35's and at full stuff I can still rub the inside of the fenders just a touch.. Nothing major, but it makes me think, with an inch less in hight, it could cause my tires rip my fenders off if I flexed hard going a little to fast.. Just curious if any 2.5'ers have experienced anything like that..
