Easy to get black lettering on Amazon, just search for it. Mopar makes a black Jeep lettering for the front grill from their Altitude edition that you can buy online also. Planning on replacing mine day 1, in fact the black lettering is in my garage with my "Day 1 Mods" pile, just waiting on Rubi!

Most dealerships will swap out the decals as part of the deal, so you just have to ask for it. Mine just did that this week.

I debadged and changed out the silver letters the second day I had mine home.

Topless Pics

I took the dual top out this weekend. Here are some pics with both tops off.

Insight is a frustrating obsession. Today my future projections went from delivery to the dealership on the 22nd to the 19th (sweet!) and now it's back to the 22nd. The difference is that one scenario unloads from railcar at 10am on the 16th and the 22nd delivery has unload at 3pm on the 16th. Maybe they need me to come out there and help? Bet I could get the Jeep from the railyard to the dealer quicker than either of the above choices...

It really is all 3. It totally changes color depending on the light. Sometimes it's ugly ass (sorry, but I own one, I can say it) pea soup green, then sometimes it's more beige (which I like) and then most times it's somewhere in the middle (still not fond of it).

In my opinion, now that I've had mine all week, I'd say the top picture is closest to reality, with the middle picture what it looks like in very bright direct sun. Mine has never had the hue in that bottom photo.

Very nice, can't wait to get mine!

Still debating if I'll ever buy a hard top. I hated storing the top off my 2004 Sahara.

The top with the freedom panel looks like it could take up a bit less space if you take it apart?

I took this photo yesterday at a dealer in Montrose, CO. CG does look much better in person than in any of the photos I've seen...but I'm still glad I went Billet. Unless your monitor is calibrated, you won't see absolutely correct colors in any photos off the internet. I'm a professional photographer. The blacks and greys in this photo measure out right where they should be...so the CG color should be correct if your monitor is calibrated. The color looks a lot richer than in most photos. I like it.

But even in this photo, the CG is picking up some of the color from the ground and from the Dozer-colored jeep behind me.

I went to the dealer to check out the Rubicon wheels...since I had not yet seen a 2013 Wrangler. I had to drop off the bumpers from Poison Spyder Customs at a powdercoating shop in Grand Junction and wanted them to come very close to matching the dark grey in the rubicon wheels...or be slightly darker...so I took a lot of close-up photos of the wheels. I actually found a rubicon not far from the powdercoat shop so I was able to take some color samples over to hold against the wheels.

Lol. Yep. Mine looks pretty close to pic 2 in broad daylight and pic 1 at dusk. It has a way of changing with the light. Also, iPhones for whatever reason turn it brown looking (mine does anyway) even though it clearly is not.

I ordered my JKUR sight unseen. But as a couple of other folks have said, the moment I saw I instantly knew it was the right call.

I've probably seen CG three different times on the lot. I remember being somewhere between pic 1 and pic 2.

I try to describe it as Rescue Green with a scoop of French Vanilla cream to smooth it out.

Moabite's pic looks pretty accurate to me.

Looks great. I like the fast back look.

I'd switch out those silver letters for some black ones and add bigger tires to fill in the lift gaps.

Mine is what the eye saw. I see it everyday the color is dynamic but varies between the rain photo and the sun photo. I like it and I get a lot if compliments about the different color

Hello everyone!

This is my first post on here. I have been a long time Jeep enthusiast and I finally decided to order 2013 JKUR CG 6 Spd, hard top, cloth saddle interior.
I can not wait to take delivery sometime in the beginning of December.

I am glad I waited this long or I would've regretted buying a different color last year.
I love this thread and all the pics...I'm taking notes for mods that I will be doing to mine as soon as I pick it up

Welcome, welcome. I got the same exact one except black cloth instead I saddle. I, too, am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my boo. If all goes well, I have 8 days left.

Can anyone provide the Insight web address? I have the VOTS info. Ordered my JKUR CG 6spd black leather on October 6th. Can't wait to get it. Have a 2012 Bright White Sahara that has performed amazingly on the trails (stock), but decided I just had replace it with the CG Rubicon. The color is fantastic. Seeing is believing!

They're the Drake Off-Road Grille Inserts shown HERE.

They're definitely a must-have mod IMO. They're really much heavier and substantial than they appear to be in pictures. They're not a thin and chintzy metal. They're very easy to install. You simply remove the grill (5 minute job) and screw each slat individually to the grille. They come with little backing plates that hold the grille inserts to the grille.

This option looks the most OEM of all the options I've seen done. Sure, you can do the $20 gutter mesh mod, but that will take longer and you need to apply zip ties and glue to your grille. I'll pass.
