Here's my 6 speed with just over 800 miles. Saw it on the dealer lot, took it for a drive and bought it

Received an email from VOTS just yesterday telling me that my CG JKUR is scheduled for production. As most everyone else, I was unsure of the color and ordered sight-unseen but needed the car by a certain date (when I move back to the U.S. from school) so went with it. The more pictures I see, the more I'm certain I'll like it.

I've been lurking hardcore for a while now and notice that there aren't too many JKs out there with half doors. I went for it. I ordered the half doors but really wanted heated seats which can't be ordered together. The dealer told me that they'll install heated seats after arrival for the invoice price. Nice.

Followed others' advice and ordered the Quadratec tow package to save a few bucks and also ordered the DirtyDog4x4.com cargo/pet separator in red. Considering the Quadratec labeled floor mat trio as well.

Anyway, everyone's rigs are super nice and I thank you all because if it weren't for you all posting your pics, I would've chickened out and ordered either black or crush while hiding in the lurker's corner.

Keep on posting pics! Peace!

Forgot to mention, huge thanks go out to Milous, rddavisjr, and Pat@FieldsJeep

If it weren't for these guys, I wouldn't have been able to arm myself with enough knowledge to teach the salesperson some stuff as well as be informed about pricing, etc. I've been dealing with a wonderful and super helpful woman via email for this Jeep and she said in one of her emails that she is learning a lot and she has also mentioned that she was surprised at how much I knew about the Wrangler program as a whole. So thanks to you guys for sharing your knowledge!

A special thanks to Pat@FieldsJeep for replying to a message I sent him regarding financing knowing full well that the likelihood of my having to shift my purchase to him would be minuscule.

Lastly, I did the TreadLightly! thing and got 1% below invoice and was able to negotiate another 1% for a total of 2% under invoice. I'm pretty happy with the price and the awesome customer service thus far.

Finally picked up my CG JKU Sport S on Tuesday. Since then, I've changed out my wheels and tires for the, blk AEV Pintlers and Cooper AT3 tires. Put half of my Body Armor sliders on and noticed I was shorted four 8mm bolts, so now I have to wait now till the manf. sends me the bolts . Also put on a Rugged Ridge mesh grill insert and removed the silver "Jeep" emblem, have the black emblem coming. Also put on a spare tire cover with the Marine Corps seal and a few other USMC related decals. I also took the silver antenna off, ruffed it up and cleaned it then I'm spray painting it black. Starting to look pretty awesome IMHO. Sure be glad when the bolts get in.

Took a chance with the color...one came into the local dealer and loved it at first sight. Night before my wedding JKU Sport in CG was mine. Now to find the right bike rack (3 bikes) for it. Really glad I went this route (hated the Patriot).

Watch that USMC tire cover. I had one on my Sahara and somebody wanted it more than me. I ended up using the ALICE pack camouflage covers in woodland, 3 color desert and 6 color chocolate chip for $5 ea. That way if somebody ganks it I'm not doing a combat patrol looking for them. Looks great though.

Did yours come with the black Rubicon stickers or did the dealer put them on for you ?

There's a grommet installed on the cover to sinch and lock. I thought for a moment only a Marine would want one of these. Surely they would'nt steal it... Then I remembered back in 1980 when I was a Lance Corporal, I had just started MSG school in Quantico. I arrived after being on leave and had my back pay locked in my locker. A Sergeant broke into it and relieved me of my pay. Only a handfull of suspects at the time living in the building. NIS did the investigation, he was later Courtmarshalled. Thx. Semper Fi Top.

The wheels/tires would be none other than ESP's Combo. Goodyear Duratrac 33x12.5R15s on 15" Black MB72 wheels. They hum a little bit but I really don't notice. I'd say they are pretty quiet for such an aggressive all terrain tire. Probably the longest wheel and tire thread on the forum covers these:

http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/33x...deo-96568.html

There is no lift in the photo, and no lift on the jeep yet, but... my Rock Krawler 2.5" Flex system lift kit was delivered by UPS today!!! I still need to order the shocks and a couple other mods I want to do at the same time as the lift (breather hose extensions, coil retainers, and exhaust spacer). I hope to have it installed sometime before New Years.

I ordered them and dealer put them on. I ordered before Jeep started putting the black badging on as standard equipment. But, I must confess... the passenger side is still silver. That side arrived later and I haven't put them on yet.

When I was based at Camp Lejeune in 2003 I had a Corvette with a North Carolina personal tag. I drilled a small hole in it and placed an Officers black large MC emblem on it. I parked it at the mainside PX one day and came out and it was gone, WTF? Takes some nuts to gank something off a car in the PX lot in broad daylight.

Just picked up my ordered Commando Green Jeep a few weeks ago. New shoes to be coming soon. Thanks to everyone for their advice on ordering and getting a good deal! I was able to get 5% below invoice with the Chrysler Affiliates Program, $500 bonus cash from the Jeep brochure, and a little negotiating.
