2014 Copperhead Pearl Thread

Copperhead!....The sexy sister of Mango Tango.

I was at my friendly neighborhood dealership today getting my oil changed and tires rotated, and whilst there, I snapped a few pics of a Copperhead Pearl Ram basking in the sun. It's certainly a befitting color here in the Ozarks, because I've become unwelcomely acquainted with my share of Copperhead snakes while fly fishing. Peein' your waders ain't cool!

As we have decided on this color, I would have to say it has been dibbed, and no one else can have it. LOL Great color, just hope I don't see a ton of them on the road. As for your waders, I would think it is very similar to the feeling of pissing in a wet suit.

Really great color, when its dark it looks like Ketchup. My 01 TJ was Amber Fire Pearl aka Mango Tango and was still my favorite colored Jeep. This is even darker and should look great with black accents.

Was AmberFire the exact same code as Mango? That was a great TJ color!

I saw Copperhead on a Dodge Caravan about 6 months back when I had my Jeep in for service. I think it would look good on a Wrangler.

It is an amazing color, pictures just don't do the color justice at all.

It will be a perfect jeep color as well, but judging at all the responses and excitement on the forum over the color it will be the next "deep cherry red" a color that everyone and their mom has. Also will be the preferred color choice of mall crawlers everywhere

But I still don't care, it is an incredible color that is going to look nice on the trail and at the mall

You can get a pretty good idea of how well Copperhead Pearl will contrast and integrate with a JK's black plastic fenders and/or bumpers, as seen here with the paint and accent trim on this Jeep Patriot. I'm beginning to think that CP looks even better on overcast days as in the pics, but as 3PedalMINI said, photos don't do the color full justice.

I agree the popularity of this color might sink it. I thought DCR was nice but around here it is the second most common after black! They are always driven by MILFs in their 40's in JKU Sahara trim for the most part too.

I'm hoping that it wont be a real popular color, I plan to trade in my mango tango for its sexy sister as soon as its available to order.

It's a great color and like some have said, it may be very popular. Hopefully it won't be so popular that its everywhere!

Does anybody have any idea when this color will be available? Is this going to be a color for all trim levels or just the Rubi's?

This is definitely my favorite color!

According to Pat's info, it could be a September or October release. Check the 2014 Info sticky for Pat's updates as there may be new information this week! As far as trim levels, your guess is as good as anyone's right now.

Once the color is released when can we expect the first photos? I'm not sure if I want to pull the trigger without first seeing it.

It's rare to see another Sunburst pearl 09, but it looks like that may change with cooperhead. Looks to be same color renamed.

A version of that last pic is in the 13 brochure. Don't know how much validity I'd give the color assumption.
