Honestly I don't have any problem with the factory lights. I'll use the money for some other stuff for now. If anything, I might to a small LED light bar above the fairlead in the future.

Can I ask what spacer lift you used and how you like it? I have a RE spacer lift, just waiting on the Jeep.

Compiled several of my new GoPro Videos into one video yesterday if anyone is bored and wants to check it out. I put a link to the new video in my signature below. Much better than the video I posted a couple days ago. Can't wait to get more videos in the Jeep.

I would highly recommend a GoPro or similar camera to everyone. It is really fun. I guarantee it will make you want to get your Jeep offroad more.

Nice video, SP!

How many times did you have to run through that puddle and how many gopro mounts did you have to use to make that one video?

HAHA! Thanks. I think I had to make 5 passes to get the different shots. I guess if I was a Pro I would have had 5 cameras setup and only had to make one run. I think I had more fun than a Pro though. I got 5 more times of puddle splashing than the Pro

Seriously, it was an awesome video. I am planning to show it to Mike this weekend. He's an amateur photography nut, and I think he'll be really impressed.

Which mounts did you use? Did you use all the ones that came with the camera, or did you buy/fab something else?

bduckett1,
How tall is your jeep from the ground to the highest point on the softop. I want to lift mine and put wheels on it, but have to make sure it gets in the garage.. Yours looks great.. What size wheels/tires and lift do you have.. Thanks Brian

I'll measure it this afternoon and let you know. It's got 17" vtec wheels and 37" MTRKs. Lift is RK 2.5 x factor. I put the 3.5 in springs on originally and thought it was a bit much so I swapped to the 2.5s. Just as advertised RK springs give you extra lift.

The Paramount bumper, does it come with its on fog lights or can you use the jw speaker fog lights ? Your Build is sweet!

I spoke to the guys at AEV and they overwhelmingly voted for black pintlers, so I changed my order. I haven't received my Jeep yet (ordered 11/1/2013, long story), but the pics of it look awesome with the black wheels! Hope this helps. Let us know which way you go and if you go Argent, I'd love to see pics!!

NorCalRubi, haven't been on in a while. Man its good to see your Jeep!! Been a long wait. I love everything you had done. Looks awesome!!

Congrats!

I measured it and its about 80" at the highest point. This is with the soft top so its a bit higher than with a hard top.

I was supposed to pick up my jeep today but it got delayed due to the snow It's currently sitting in a rail yard in PA covered in snow... I hope I can take delivery on Monday! Can't wait anymore!! Planning on a 50in led bar, anyone ever use the KC led bars? I'm looking at the c-series mount combo, runs about $850 on amazon.

Hey there ya'll! Got a couple updates... Finally got to put my Jeep in 4-wheel drive last week when we a little bit snow and I had to climb a hill. Worked awesome!

Finally got my leather installed yesterday. I went with ash colored katzskin.

Also got my Ace JK rock sliders installed tonight. What a total pain in my ass! But worth it in the end. Look great.

Thanks StarBrite. It was a lot of fun.

I bought the suction cup mount that is real handy for mounting on the body and windshield. I grabbed some wire and tied the camera on the Ace Rails for one shot. I can't wait to get the top off and find a place on the roll bars to mount the camera.

Haven't done anything major yet but wanted to put these grill inserts on here. Pretty happy with them and easy as hell to snap on! Was definitely starting to worry about the cooler and rad as much pelting the front was taking this winter.

Nice X Weso! Were practically neighbors. I have a Granite X just like yours on order. Haven't seen many of those on the road in our neck of the woods. Where did you get the inserts?

hey BCT! Thanks.
Yeah I haven't seen many granites around here either. Probably not a bad thing! Gotta keep the club tight right! Anyway the inserts are Rugged Ridge black aluminum ordered through amazon for about a $130. Definitely saved over quadratec & 4wheel! You'll want to consider something because those gaps are huge and with a chip in the hood a two in the windshield already I can only imagine what the radiator has been going through! That's in a little less than 3 months!

Something's better than nothing! Remember to post some pics when yours arrives!
