Ha. I saw you at work today...I was the one who asked y'all if you wanted to change the channel. What kind of lift did you have on the 2010 you traded in?

Hah a leveling kit with bilstein shocks. I'm thinking about going to an AEV 2.5.

I saw the bilsteins but didn't have a chance to look closely. I have a 2010 auto that I may try and trade for your manual. Did you do any hardcore offroading on it? Any other mods besides the extended sway bar links up front? One of my coworkers is about to install an AEV 2.5 on a 10A. Come check it out soon if you're local.

Thanks, SP, but nothing! No word from shipper all weekend. I already sent AEV an email tonight and will call tomorrow as soon as they open to track it. Thanks for asking!

bduckett1

I measured it and its about 80" at the highest point. This is with the soft top so its a bit higher than with a hard top.

BDUCKETT1 - Thanks man... I appreciate it. Now to do some measurements.

Ok, so my Jeep was supposed to arrive from AEV this weekend. The whole weekend passed with nary a word, so I called AEV today. Lo and behold, the carrier's truck engine broke down and now they are waiting for another carrier to pick up my Jeep and hopefully deliver tomorrow or Thursday. If it arrives in one piece it will be a miracle! Arghhhhh

Mods I want to do soon
Front bumper and rear bumper
I have a question other GCM owners can answer
When replacing front bumper what are you doing with the AIR pump that's behind left side front bumper

My LOD did not require moving it. I found most manufactures offer a relocation kit if their bumpers do.

I made up my mind with my previous jk, that I would go AEV. So the Gran-gler will be on an AEV 2.5 inch dual sport lift.. I keep thinking about switching to another, but I know if I don't go AEV I'll have buyers remorse..

Not the greatest picture, but I gave it a bath over the weekend and it finally got warm enough to take the top off. Thought I would take a picture of it clean and with the top off before the rain moves in and gets it all dirty again.

Looks great SP! man I'm jealous of your weather. It'll be May before all this ugly white (turning black) stuff melts away up here. 57" so far for the year. Think I need to move back to the south.

Nice SP! Looking good.

Depressing update on my saga, AEV contacted carrier again, now my Jeep may arrive Friday or Monday, the driver sounds totally sketchy and AEV is very upset. Imagine how I feel? El Guapo is just sitting out there somewhere hoping to get home....

Thanks guys. I got to drive around yesterday and today with the top off. Saw lots of other Jeeps and I was the only one rocking the topless Jeep. Got a bunch of looks even though we have had a little bit of warm weather the past couple days. Wore short sleeves today. Unfortunately warm air and cold air are converging tomorrow and could see some bad storms so I had to get the top back on tonight. Looking forward to some consistent warm weather.

EZ St on MT- 57 inches of snow. I don't think I will see that much snow in my whole lifetime! We only got a dusting this year in Nashville.

NorCalRubi- Hope you get it this week and don't have anymore problems!

JKrazyMike - Looking good man. I bet you were getting a lot more crazy looks than me!

JKrazyMike nice. I did the same thing last month to get the soft top out. nothing like taking a quick ride with the top off and snow on the ground.

Hang in there brotha, any day now, any day! I might know a few guys that could throw that driver a beating if necessary!
