The shade is great, I live in Florida and must say the shade drops the temperature in the jeep by at least 10 degrees, and its not as noisy as I thought it would be driving at higher rates of speed.

Good luck!
Thanks man! Sounds like our builds are pretty similar, very cool...post up some shot of the LP hoop when you're done...I looked at their new stinger too, but I like the LP better...did you get the 'reinforcement brace brackets' or just the 'hoop mount plates'? just curious...good luck man!

Man, you are lucky to have Rubiwho helping! He has a BAD JKU! He was one of the reasons I went with the 37's.
Yeah man, he's a great guy, I'm definitely lucky to have him help out, he really knows his stuff... can't wait to get this thing going!

Thanks!
You need the door surrounds for the top to properly latch. Think about where the Sunrider portion latches in. The door surrounds are easily removed by removing the 2 bolts with the plastic knobs attached to the head.

Here's a shot of my LP Hoop. I used the reinforcement brackets since I had the bumper off anyhow for the winch install.

I second the shade...I love mine. Plus it's nice to be able to leave it on when the top is up.

I have a hard top on my jku... how can I twist the knob in the back center locking the two T tops together?

Black Rock Viper 900s (Tungsten) on Granite Crystal?

Hi Guys,

Bought my Granite Crystal JK Sport a month ago and am really enjoying it. Been considering some wheels. What are your thoughts on the Black Rock 900S (aka Tungsten)? The look seems right to me, but I've not seen examples of that wheel on Granite Crystal. Got a gut feeling it will look great.

Also immediately after buying I had to go to northwestern New Mexico on business. Had a day off and went to Chaco Canyon, which is fantastic and out in the middle of nowhere. The whole time I was in that country I kept thinking about how good it would be to have the Wrangler there to explore those dirt tracks that just seem to wander off to the horizon. Looking forward to the time I can put the JK through it's paces.

Thanks for the help.

I only have the soft top, but the shades have two grommets / holes for the hard top knobs. Just make sure they are aligned when putting on the shade. There is a thread on here somewhere for the Spiderweb shades that gives more details. Also check out the Spiderweb shade website, it has installation videos that may answer your question.

Copying a post I put in the Club Willys thread:

I plan on keeping the stock wheels and tires for a while once I get my Granite Willys, but was curious if anyone's seen a teflon/grey wheel on a wrangler? Seems like it'd be a good match for the granite. Something along these lines: http://goo.gl/PvY8CQ . Or maybe it would just look like black wheels. Was hoping someone might have some pics.

Just picked up my 3rd Wrangler.

Just picked it up on Monday , gave my 2009 Wrangler Unlimited to my son.
Now both my sons have Wranglers, just need to get the wife to switch over.

Congratulations, they are addicting aren't they? I'm on my third too, but my boys are only 2 and 4 so it means I'll be at least getting up to 5! Enjoy the new ride!!

I don't have a granite, but I thought this might help...

StarBrite's Celticon

That's a picture of my freedom edition with mineral grey stock wheels. I swapped them out almost immediately after I got them for black wheels though.

Congrats to all the new Jeeps and new members! Looking good

I got a few days of topless weather last week and had a blast. Looking forward to getting some more warm days and also hoping to get the Jeep offroad sometime soon.

Finally getting back here with the latest pic

Hi all,
It's been a few months since I have been on. Lots more pages added and a lot of cool rigs.

I spent a bit of coin. Maybe two bits. Fun but sad.
Warn Zeon 10s, Warn Elite bumper, rigid lights all around, Truclite headlights, Spod Box, 3" stage 3 Mopar (Terraflex) lift, Hyline rear with tire carrier and racks inside and out.
More to come.

Goin' wheeling in Utah in a week and then some stuff in the Sierra in May.

Impressive list, and looks great! Are you thinking about wheels and tires once your wallet recovers?

Oh yeah! I hope I can wait for the wallet to recover. Thankfully I only want 33's or most 34's. I know everybody tells me 35's but I had those on my truck and they are just too big and fuel is just too expensive. I also like the stock wheels and tires so I am not too crazed. Just the 3" lift and stockers is a tad off.

I like either pro comp muds or my favorite being toyo M/T's and I will do those Birddog wheels by Interco with the internal bead retension ring and 2 valve stems.

I am going wheeling in Utah next week and there is a few level 10 trails and I hope I will get a better photo with the suspension working.
