Hi all, if you wouldn't mind posting pics of your rig with 285/70 17s and a 2.5 inch lift I would greatly appreciate it! I want to go bigger now and I'm not sure how it will look with with my "33" inch Duratracs.
Please let me know what lift you have and whether or not you like it. Currently I'm leaning towards the TeraFlex coil lift without shocks because I already have Bilstein 5100 shocks.
Rough Country 2.5" lift with 285/70r17. Just got it done Tuesday, so don't have a lot of input on it yet other than I'm really happy with the look of it.
I did a 2.5 RE Lift with Bilstein 5100 Shocks 2 Months ago and I'm quite happy with the performance and Look right now.
(Combined with current 285/70 R17 Nokian HKPLT LT2 Winter Tires)
It's the OME 2+Heavy lift with the Nitro shocks, two month after I got it OME came out with the adjustable Nitro shocks, Oh well... I really like it..and mine is a Daily Driver too.
Here's a pic of my 2dr with a AEV 2.5 lift and my winter tires, General Altimax Arctics in 285/70/17. The tires look way too small for the lift but they're a lot safer winter tire than the Duratracs. Also enclosed a pic with the 315/70/17 Duratracs I normally run.
Here's mine ..2 1/2" Rock Krawler with 285/70/17 Duratracs. Liking it a lot! Would've gone with the 35's but would require re-gear which wasn't in the budget this year! Still very happy with this set up!
I am thinking about this setup. I am am currently running 285/70r17 Nitto Terra Grappler G2 on my JKU with a Terraflex leveling kit. I am just nervous that my G2s might look too small since they aren't a very aggressive looking tire.
