I'm thinking about adding these wheels to my JKU. And possibly 33" Duratracs. But first I'd like to see how 33's look with no lift.

Much appreciated.

I have a new 2015 JKU Sport with 3.21 gears. Can I pull off 33's like this without changing gears to 3.73 or 4.10? Looking at a budget level lift to give some extra clearance, but gears look to be quite the expense.

What's the long term effect of not going to 3.73 or 4.10's with this kind of setup?

285/70R17 Duratracs with 1.5" Spidertrax.

Sorry, mine's not a JKU, but I'll try and grab a pic of my friend's JKU Moab with them.

This thread is great! I've been looking at tires. I don't want to lift and just got new wheels a few months ago. I have ProComp series 7005 wheels, 17x8 with a 4.5 backspace. Does anyone know if 285/70/17 is the largest I can go? I know I can't get taller but how about wider?

Also... Anyone have a recommendation on a quiet AT tire with aggressive tread? I'm not a huge fan of the duratec which everyone else seems to love. I know, I'm needy. But aren't we all?

I'm in a similar boat. Not that I don't like the duratracs but id like more aggressive but also still quite. Which I know is probably extremely needy but I'm to cheap to do what it requires to rub 35's but still want a "jeep" look that I can drive everyday.
