thanks!

Nope, they fit just fine. I can see where rubbing could be an issue out on the trail, which is why I'm putting the leveling kit in just to add some extra clearance in the wheel wells.

I ran 33x12.5R15 with a 3/4 lift and rubbed the rear fenders several times. The leveling kit will put 1" in the rear only .25 larger than what I was running. I think you will rub but how badly depends on how often you wheel it and which trails you choose. The front will be fine unless your fully flexed.

You can always add a small bumpstop extension to limit the upward travel of the rear axles. This might be the best solution if you run into rubbing with the leveling kits.

Also, thanks for the tip, DJstorm on the wood to get a bit higher, that thought never occurred to me. This is good stuff as I am sure Santa will be leaving a few lift kits under some WF member's trees this season. Maybe a "lift tips and tricks" thread is worth starting on this topic. It would probably be better reading than the half dozen broken speed sensor/brake lines cuz I dropped my axle too low threads that are coming...

one set of my stands are from autozone, the durlast one, while another is for heavy duty truck. I typically try to get it as high as I can. You don't need to lower the axle that much but it does help. If you have a 2012 unbolt the front drive shaft so it does not rest on the exhaust. With my 3 inch (really 4 in the front) spring I use a spring compressor...granted I have air tools. But if you are doing a 2.5 inch lift you can slide the spring in no problem. I normally just put my foot on the disk brake and push it down with my weight and pop the spring in. Do driverside first then passenger side.

The rear doesn't matter. IF you get a teraflex kit make sure you order the spring guides as well. when you are flexing this guide the springs back to their seat. They use to include them but don't anymore. Dave at northridge has the best prices around when it comes to teraflex.

These, you take the stock spring isolator and put it over the spring guide and put the spring guide in to the hole where the spring isolator once was. Its easiest to put the spring on the axle and use the jack to press in the isolator. I normally will reach my head on the back side and guide it in by feel.

I'm digging the stance and cannot wait to get the lift put on Monday. Then the lights, light bar, and when the old takeoffs sell, the new Besttop NX.

You made a good decision to ditch the hard top. The soft top looks great on it with the darkened windows.

DonC72 Thanks for the PM - Looks great!!

Glad to hear there is no rubbin'. I wanna set of these

I have another 4 months of tire life, I wonder if the Tread Lightly will renew there Dura Trac deal for another year- I am not a member yet, but the Tire thing will convince me to be a member. But I think it (the tire deal) expires in a few weeks... anybody know if they plan to extent that perk of memebership into 2012?

How much was this set with rims for all 5?

Ok, got 4 out 5 sets in. I went and put them on any way. The XRC Modular bumper less the end sections and winch came in as well so I put on all I had. Tires have a nice low hum to them, not to load, just what I wanted. Need to get them in some real dirt and mud but will wait for the winch to come in just in case.

Do they make a M/T sidebiter in a 15 (5x5) to fit the JK?
Quadratec only list the 15 for the Tj.

Still looking for a non all black alloy? There was thread on here a few days ago with some wheels that you said you were looking for but I couldn't remember who asked about them then

Was gonna send you the pics.
