My wheels/tires come in tomorrow but my procal hasn't even shipped yet! And its coming from california so it'll be at least 5-6 business days.

What am i supposed to do? Lol. I won't be able to resist putting them on.

Put them on. There are many folks that never go with a procal after moving up, so no biggie if it has to wait a couple days.

That beeping will probably drive me nuts. Not to mention my speedo will be off. Oh well, I just won't drive it. Lol.

It will only beep once then the light will stay on. This process will repeat each time you start it. I wouldn't think twice about driving it. Just check your speedo against a standalone gps, phone app, or just have someone follow you and flash their lights at you when they get to a set speed. Then you can figure how off the speedo is and just adjust for it mentally til you get the procal.

I put on my 33x12.5R15s a long time ago with no ProCal. My speedo is more accurate than before, though my TPMS goes off each time. It's no problem.

Go ahead and put them on. If you run 33's your speedo shouldn't be off at all. I checked mine with my GPS and my speedo was dead on, no adjustment needed. As for the TPMS, it'll chime once when you start it and the light flashes for about 45 seconds then remains constant. Mount 'em and enjoy the increased gas mileage--at least until you put a lift on!

I put some 35s on today with no procal. No problems yet. Haven't even seen the light flash.

When I put mine on it took about 2 weeks for the Jeep to recognize that the sensors weren't there and the light to come on. I was beginning to think they had accidentally put sensors in my tires

My local dealer does quite a bit of aftermarket mods and they said they same thing to me yesterday when I asked about 15" or 16" rims on my 2011 JKU.

The local Jeep specialty shop in Austin told me the same...that 15" wheels wouldnt fit on the 2012 JKu becausle ofr brake clearance, and that I'd need to do 16".

Odd, since I've seen DOZENS of postings on this forum from JK-drivers with 15" wheels.

Curiouser and curiouser....

I'm definitely not an expert on this by any means, but I'm pretty sure Discount Tire has 15" wheels that will fit. The MB72, Chaos 5, etc.

This is a common response from shops who haven't actually tried to fit 15" wheels on the JK. Most 15" steel wheels do not work but there are a good amount of 15" alloy wheels that do clear. Here's the list of all the 15" alloy wheel models that we guarantee to fit withour spacers or modifications to the brake calipers.

As noted above, many 15's don't fit and some do. Most dealers associate 15" with Tj's. I have 15's on my JK and they fit fine...just watch the backspacing as they can stick out a bit depending on the wheel.

You'll love the Teraflex 2.5" coil lift. That's what I'm running and paired with the VS9550 Teraflex shocks, the ride is better than stock! Gas mileage on the other hand...but then if I were really worried about gas mileage I wouldn't be driving a Jeep!

Discount Tire Question???
Can I have the stock TPMS sensors put into the Level 8 Trackers in 15x8?
Or should I just ditch them?

Thanks

I had mine transfered to my 15x8 Black Rock D-Windows, so I don't see why not. My TPMS still dings though, as I'm running 32 PSI in my 33x12.5r15 DuraTracs versus the 37 PSI recommended on my door frame by Chrysler for my old BFGs.

Thanks MTH! Sweet rig btw!
I didnt think it would be a problem other than the pia getting them switched out.
Just have to wait until they have a product to adjust the settings in the computer to the proper pressure for the new tires.
Like a procal or flashpaq or something similar.

What do you mean "wait until they have"?

You (or I) can order a ProCal to do just that . . . I just don't feel like spending the $150. It certainly can be done though.

The procal works for the 2012 already. It's the tuners like the Superchips that don't work with the 11+ models yet.

Just came today, put them on today. Just couldn't wait. I think I embarrassed my wife a little working in the driveway installing tires by the light of a work light. From what I can see in the dark, they look awesome, lol.

A small piece of black electrical tape is almost free and it works great to hide the light.
