Funny how a full tank of gas makes the two door lean.

Got mine on Friday night. Love them! TY DTD. : )

After seeing them on, I've went from thinking no lift/leveling kit to absolutely NEEDING a 4" lift. lol I still want the Trektop NX and the stubby bumper kit too. Those will have to wait till funds permit, as I'm just starting 2 kids at the orthodontist for braces. Jeep mods......braces....jeep mods.....braces.....ugh! Want the mods but gotta do the right thing, the mom thing. ; ) lol

I went with the MB TKO's because they are the closest thing from DTD that resemble the MT Sidebiter wheels. I love those but as far as I can tell, they aren't made w/a 5 on 5 lug pattern and I wasn't interested in going the adapter route. Not wild about the huge center cap but it'll either grow on me or I'll end up buying the MB Chaos center cap that will go on these wheels too. I would LOVE to see a pic if anyone else has done that yet.

I was just looking at getting these. They look good in person. What size are yours?

I mean the wheels

You should reconsider a 4" lift especially if you are budget minded. A lift of that size will make your new tires look like roller skates and then you want/need bigger one again. 4" lifts bring on a host of other problems you'll need to address and it adds up quickly. Not to steer you away from it all together but you should look into it more and read up on it so you know what its going to require.

I can definitely see where one thing snowballs into lots of other things. This jeep is going to be expensive. lol

Maybe a 2" lift? At the least a leveling kit, so it sits level. I will do some more reading. Thanks for the good advice cause I definitely don't want bigger tires at this point. A few years down the road, when it's mainly for play, sure....just not while it's my DD.

TeraFlext 2.5" coil lift or budget boost, with the shocks, and you'll be all done in terms of lift and tires without breaking the bank and without throwing a lot of other jeep parts into jeopardy.

My 2.5" coil lift over 33x12.5R15s looks like this:

Yup. I purchased the McGard kit #84518 and the lug nuts and lock fit nicely under the Black Rock center cap.

Can't wait to see your tires on!
Just a heads up so you aren't disappointed. I too got the Daystar bump stops, but after putting the spare tire/wheel on the tailgate, I had a big gap between the end of the Daystars and the sidewall of the tire.

I love the look of yours. OK, to be completely honest, your jeep is probably my favorite. ; ) I LOVE that blue. Your jeep wheel post (and ESP's) are what actually got me on the journey of getting new tires. That amount of lift definitely looks good. Do you have any issues w/rubbing when you go offroad? I'm not into rock crawling .....mudding/climbing are more my thing.

Thanks. Never understood why Jeep didn't stick with that blue . . .

That said, nope, no rubbing. The TF bumpstops that came with my kit pretty clearly prevent it. If I ever go to 35s though, I'll be looking at flat flares.

Hmmmm....I'm pretty sure mine are good. They're both making good contact. Is this what it's supposed to look like?

I know! I would have gotten it in a second. I would've gotten Cosmos Blue but I prefer a metallic paint. It's great for you though.....more unique.

Thanks for the info! : )

Haven't installed mine yet (been sitting in my entryway for awhile . . .) but this is how I expect them to look, yes.

I forgot to remove the TF spare tire adapter i had for the factory rim and 285/70/17 tire.

Thanks for helping me remember why mine weren't 'working'. Damn memory. I can tear the front end apart and replace ball joints but something simple like bumpstops kicks my ass.

Fixed and all is good!
