Got my wheels and tires last week from DTD. They were at my door in two days! Wheels and tires are awesome. Got a great deal on the whole package. I asked for black lugs and I got chrome ones. Called that night and they shipped new ones out the next day no charge. Told my brother-in-law about DTD and he ordered his setup the next day. This is the pick before my leveling kit got installed.

Question about tire pressure. I have the combo on a 2009 JKU. Running about 30 PSI. This seems about right. However, the outside 1 inch of the tire doesn't seem to come into contact with road much. I have seen this via chalk test and just visually looking at tire after driving through dusty parking garage etc. Does this seem right? Do I need to change PSI?

Thoughts?

Running mine at 30-31or so and see the same thing. Don't really want to run any softer on tarmac just to add more rolling resistance. The ride is perfect so I don't feel they are overinflated. Just took it through a mountain road and since I didn't have my s2000 with me I figured what the hell, and ran the Jeep through its paces handling wise, manual shifting and all...to my surprise, handled VERY well for what it is, and I was actually pulling away from my dad in his 2012 Acura RL. I probably have more balls than he does but still, the grip was exellent, no tire squeal, and I was doing almost 65 in a 35 without feeling like I was about to lose it. The 50/50 weight distribution is definitely a bonus. People underestimate the handling of a JKU on fat tires in rear wheel drive, and I say that with a straight face.

Btw, based on the above experience, the limiting factor of the wrangler is not the suspension or tires, it is the brakes. They really are pitiful and really don't provide confidence when driving in a spirited fashion. I do think they WILL stop the jeep, just the feel is terrible and really scares you when you need to brake hard.

Hello, I'm new to this website. I would like to know, does Pro Comp make 15" steel black rims that will fit the 2012-2013 Jeep JK? And if so, what would the backspacing measurements have to be?

I have a 2013 Jeep JK Wrangler Super Sport on order and would like to know what to excpect.

As far as we know there are no 15" STEEL wheels that clear the brakes on the JK. This is because of their stamped construction. You would have to run spacers or grind the calipers to make 15" steel wheels work which we do not recommended.

Here's the list with all the 15" alloy wheel models we offer for the JK that are guaranteed to fit without modifications of spacers. The 15x10 Black Rock D-Window 909 will also work.

This thread is gonna make me lose my money Lol. So I was looking into getting 15x8 level 8 trackers with 33x12.50 duratracs. The only thing I'm worried about is it rubbing a lot especially with the backpacking and also with having the duratracs never balancing. Should I have any worries?? Btw very new to the jeep world.

You won't have any rubbing issues with that set up (the only exception may be some rub on your stock front bumper where it crosses in front of your tires, and then only when you turn).

I wouldn't say duratracs never balance. I have run 33" for 9 months, and no issues. Some people have balancing problems, some don't.

I ordered mine from DTD and requested they MAKE SURE the combo is balanced properly. If not, change the tire, and try again. I am sure DTD doesn't want to deal with me sending back their wheels or dealing with a CC company dispute, so mine came perfectly balanced.

LOL.

So far, I didn't have any issues with balancing. Everything rides nice and smooth. Super happy I ordered these over the MB 72's. I like that they stick out a bit further.

Off topic. I got my combo (thanks kjeeper) in May. No tire noise on the road until today. A truck pulled out in front of the gf and myself. I was doing about 40 mph when he appeared. I slammed the brakes, hit the horn, and time slowed down. The only sound I heard was the tread of my duras gripping the pavement. It was loud. I had the doors and top off so I heard it all. I told him what a fine human being I thought he was using numerous expletives and showed him he was #1 with a finger.

All I heard was duras gripping. Looking back it was an awesome sound. To semi quote Mr. T; "I pity the fool that jacks up my Jeep!"

The set ups on here are so freaking drool worthy. I am thinking of the Level 8 with the Duratrac *combo* and it looks like it will run aprox 1750 for a set of 5. So now, what are all the discounts we can get? I may have to wait it out until Discount Tire does that 100$ off a pair of rims and 100$ off a set of tires. OR my tax refund. I also was curious, are you guys just junking your TPMS'? And then Procal'ng to zero? It looks like the TPMS will run me about 100$ and some change and if I dont NEED the TPMS then I may get a procal instead.. Thoughts? I check my tires regularly since my other car (acura TL aspec has 245.35.19's on it) and needs constant pressure checks. And then a level kit I would need as well? I dont plan to go flexing or climbing rocks, I do like to play in the snow and mud sometimes though
