Depends on the backspacing and you'll tear off your fender if you flex it without extending your bumpstops.

With a 2" lift look into a 32" Duratrac.
Also the bolt pattern is different on the wheel, you want 5x4.5.
So the answer is YES just some minor differances since you have a Tj

I am sold, just waiting on the price of scrap copper to go up so I can take all mine in and get the set. I have a black JKU but still think they will look total cool on her.

I have been on the fence about throwing 33's on the stock wheels with spacers or going with entirely new wheels and tires. At the end of the day, the big fatty looking tires on the 15's are worth a few extra months savings to me, and I am planning to get these and mount them, then sell my OEM's (with a pimpin" bedliner job!) on CL or perhaps here, then buy my BB lift. Only question I have is does 2.5" lift look like too much lift with 33's or should I keep it at 2"? I kinda like the stout appearance, and I think the beefy wide tires stuffing and sticking out of the wheel well (props to ESP with the modest lift) only lifted to 2" will fit the bill nicely. The stubby bumper mod I did will only get better from here. I want my Jeep to look like it eats Prius's for breakfast and craps out Smart Cars.

Whoa dude, you've got it all squirreled up.

First, ESP has a 2.5" lift. So there ya' go in the looks department. (At least he does CURRENTLY, though not when he authored this thread. Check out some of his more current pics . . . IIRC he had a thread that he started on his 2.5" lift install that'll show you the lift with the DuraTracs.)

Second, I'll bet you that getting 15" wheels, 33x12.5R15 DuraTracs, and selling your old wheels and tires will be CHEAPER than keeping your current wheels, buying spacers, and getting 33" DuraTracs to fit 17" wheels. If not cheaper, it'll at least be close.

Whadaya think of them apples?

I know it is odd. It is going to cost me $300 for a new MB wheel and 33X12.5X15 tires yet was going to cost $288 for a 17" tire

For just $12 more dollars I got new wheel then what I was going to have to pay for 17's and they are more then what 18's would cost in 33's

And you already have spacers. If you didn't have those, the 33x12.5R15 set up wouldn't just be $12 away from even--it'd be way ahead. Strange indeed.

And that's not even counting the money you save on the NEXT set of tires. If you already had the 15" wheel, you'd be much better positioned to pick up some new tires for cheap when a good sale comes along.

I guess I need to do some more digging into ESP's current set up then. I love the look of the 33's on 15's but don't want to get more lift then the tires fit. I'm still kinda stuck on the 2" AEV lift and keeping it simple. For now, of course.

There is still the damn voice of logic asking me if what I am buying now could be brought over to my next JK in a couple of years. I am still on the 3-4 year plan, hoping to "keep it fresh" and have mods I can take off before trade in some day. I'd like to make my Jeep as sweet as possible (to me) without leaving my mods at the dealer at trade in time some day in the future. As much as I love my Wrangler, I already know it's my first, but won't be my last.

Wow, the comments came in quick while i was out getting my new floor jack.

I was in the same boat last week, planning on sticking to my stock wheels to save money. I'm w/ MTH that you'll save in the long run getting new tires and wheels (15s) and selling your stock setup.

As for your lift size, I'm too green to comment on that one. I do think that one thing to consider when adding a lift is how much weight you plan to add back on later, mostly in regards to winch and bumpers. (since the weight can/will take away some of the lift). I think you just upgraded your bumpers didn't you?

The only real question you need to ask yourself at the end of the day is "Does my Jeep look better than MTH's?"
