Just got my combo delivered today! Super fast shipping (ordered on Sat. afternoon). Hopefully I'll get them put on in the morning.

I have a question though, DTD. I got the tire replacement certificates for each tire. Is there a physical copy of the certificates? Or is it just the invoice/back of the invoice?

Hey guys and DTD.

I have a 2011 unlimited rubi. I have the teraflex budget boost in my garage, just havent had the chance to get it on my rig.

What do you think the best set up would be? I like the size of the 35s but the gas mileage of the 33s. I know I cant always have the best of both.

Do you guys think the 33s will fill up the wheel well nicely or should I splurge and get the 35s?

I would like to get a quote on 5:
35s and 33s of the Goodyears
MB TKO -19MTB
TPS if needed

How do 35" "Fierce Attitudes" compare to 35" "Goodyear Wrangler Durtracs" ?

On and Off the road characteristics? Road noise at highway speeds? They seem a bit cheaper in price than the Goodyears too.

Considering, my off road will be about 20% of my driving and the rest on Florida roads with occasional torrential downpours.

I am getting so close to ordering my Level 8 polished rims & tires.

Best recommendations about choosing 16's or 17's too? I am leaning towards the 17's. What's the best choice?

These will go on a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with a 3 inch lift.

Received my setup from Discount Tire Direct last week. Put in my order Wed night and received them by Friday Night. Top notch service and I could not be happier with the purchase. Have some before and after pictures and of course I had to get them dirty the next day!!

Could someone roll a 33x12.5R15 wheel/tire up next to, in front of, etc. a stock sport 255/75R17 wheel/tire and snap a few photos? I just want to see the actual factual difference between the two unloaded height-wise.

So I just pulled the trigger on the 15'' MB TKO -19 with the Goodyear DT 33s. Bought them at my local Discount Tire.

The salesman seemed to not think the 15'' would fit my 2011 JK unlimited rubi. These will fit correct?

That's a hard one. I went the larger tire route on mine. I pay a little more for gas but I love the way it looks AND I have a little more clearance and sidewall cushion when I hit the trail.

PM on the way.

The Duratrac shines in winter conditions over the Fierce Attitude. They also seem to last a little longer even though neither of them have a mileage warranty and they are quieter on the highway as well. Both have plenty of large groves to help channel water.

As for 16's Vs. 17's. If you think you'll want to go larger than a 35" tire someday go with the 17's. There's a lot more 37" tires for 17" wheels so if you go with a 17" the first time you won't have to buy new wheels in the future. If you don't plan to go any larger than a 35" tire, 16's are awesome. Most 16" wheels have nice 8.5" widths and there is a good selection of tires for in 35" for 16" wheels as well.

Lol, Yes they will fit like a champ! Even though we've been selling 15" wheels for Jk's for years now, there are still plenty of people that think they won't fit. Including guys that work for us. I think it may be because the wrangler is one of the very few trucks that can still fit a 15" wheels. Most other Trucks and full and midsized SUV's have brakes that are too large for 15's so a lot of people just assume the new wrangler is the same way. You are going to love your new wheels and tires BTW, post up some pictures once you get them bolted on!

You can run up to a 33" tire with no lift, you could get some rub if you take it off road. As far as for spacers it would depend on the backspace on your wheels. You want at least 4.5" of backspacing, with a R 15 chances are your OK but check to make sure.

I have a friend who runs 31-10.50 his tj. According to him that is the biggest tire a tj could run without a lift.

Correct. I had 31x10.50x15's on my TJ and had a BB only. It's funny how much different the JK is from the TJ, in that JK's now come standard with 32's

Thank you for awesome pics and comments.
How do you guys handle the stock tires and rims after replacing? Sell them craighslist or a local tire shop? or save them in your garage?
If we need to buy another Wrangler after 5-10 years, can we still use current 15" rims? If yes, I think we need to save them in garage to trade-in.
Just curious.

Know one knows what bolt pattern the Wrangler will be in 5-10 years so we don't know if your stock or new wheels will fit a newer wrangler down the road. The TJ (97-2006 Wrangler) has a different bolt pattern than the current body style JK so it possible a newer model may be different as well.

Also, tires do have a shelf life. Tire manufacturer's deem tires that are 10 years old to be unsafe for use.

If you plan on buying wheels and tires from one of our stores we may be able to offer you some money for them in trade. I've also seen a number of people sell their stock wheels and tires on Craigslist, ebay and in the classifieds here.

Assuming your Wrangler is 2007+, I've seen people run 35's with 2" of lift but it took some fender trimming and a few other modifications. A 34" tire could work as well but it will also require some modifications.

So the combo that the OP installed…15” MB72s and 33” Duratracs fits on a stock JKU with no suspension work or shaving of calipers? What about the 15" level 8 Trackers? Can that be done or is a leveling kit needed at the very least?
