Well I haven't driven her at night yet since I got the headlights yesterday. Will update you today when I do!

The only thing I can say is last night I went out to my car at about 6-7pm, unlocked it, and when the headlights turned on I was literally shocked how bright they were! I mean you could tell a difference at the shop but nothing like seeing them when its getting dark outside!

Here's another pic

I was worried they were going to be pretty bright at night but after driving tonight and stepping outside to look at them they are just perfect!

Completely worth the small investment for them. it is very clear and bright white. I wish I had a before picture from driving on the freeway but it's a HUGE difference.

The light reflects off the highway lines so nicely and clarity is just plain awesome 👍🏼

I finally installed the JW Speaker J Series headlights and fogs that I got and I can't even describe the clarity difference night driving. Its just a whole new ballgame.

The knock-offs add an anti-flicker harness out of necessity, because the Jeep's electrical system in a pulse system. JW lights, by comparison, build the anti-flicker technology into the light circuitry, eliminating the need for an anti flicker harness, and also eliminating the need (with the latest generation) for additional connections and splicing. Yes, they are more money. But I'll tell you what, I bought a set of Xprite LED halo lights (knock-offs of the JW J-Series but with a full halo) and I installed them and they flickered like crazy WITH the harness. There was a delay in them turning on and switching from low to high. Drove by my installer's shop and he said "oh boy, you bought those LED knock offs from China didn't you" Yep. Sent them back while I was still able to ($325 for the pair) and got the JW and installed them myself.

I will say that the LEDs from Sprite, like the ones above, are NOT DOT approved (as mentioned by another poster above) and for that reason, they don't actually do more than throw a lot of (unfocused) light. If you can get them aimed properly, perhaps they won't blind oncoming traffic, that I do not know.

Good information for those considering knockoff lights.

See folks, just get the real thing.

Also, I'm sure BrokenStar is with me when I say I hope these people doing LED bulb replacements live in the farthest state away from me... I hate being an oncoming driver to someone with those things.

The JW's I got were $572 for the set on Amazon. J-Series with the half halo on top. These particular lights required only a simple H-13 connection (same as on stock) with no additional wires or splicing. In in 20 minutes.

Yeah, I saw that post about a month after I bought mine, lol. Also a Prime member here and I swear by their customer service. I may reach out to JW and inquire about the warranty. Amazon wasn't actually the seller in this case, it was Offroad Toys, Inc.

They've got great customer service, but the problem is, the nitty gritty details of how Amazon handles warranty's that require the vendor to submit the claim on behalf of the customer AND it's further complicated when Amazon isn't actually the seller. Technically, Offroad Toys would need to file your claim with JWS on your behalf, if you ever have an issue. I did ask the question to JWS about what happens if the authorized seller you bought them from goes out of business, and they weren't sure how they'd handle that but said the customer should reach out to them (JWS) directly and they'd figure it out. I'm not a fan of how they handle the warranty claim through the vendor, but every claim I have ever seen made has been resolved to the complete satisfaction of the customer, so they do honor the warranty, the process is just a pain.

I ordered JWS headlights from Amazon and never thought twice about it...until now. The lights came from Quality Performance Parts, who is a highly rated vendor on Amazon but no longer sells JWS. Hopefully I won't ever have any issues with the headlights but if I ever get the fogs and/or taillights, I'll definitely go through one of the reputable vendors that supports this forum.

To Natanette, congrats on the new Jeep!! And enjoy the giant hole it will now put in your bank account!!
