Custom fuel can mounts (looking for pics)

Lets see 'em. Looking for ideas on how to fab up some mounts and where to place them. Not looking to do a whole bumper or swing gate mount just yet. I have the stock rear bumper and 35" on the tire mount. I have the tire supported and seated to where it's real solid on the carrier, but want to get a couple cans mounted for the trails. Most likely be sitting on the bumper or mounted to the swing gate hinge and relocating my hi lift mount. Here are a couple pics to show my current set up

Both are the Bestop Brand. Top and duster are the Unlimited models. The wind jammer is a 2 door, but fits the 4 door. Tight fit, but doesn't flap which I like. Only thing is the top portion and bottom portion have a slide connection to the 2 door duster and top, but the unlimited top and duster don't have the connection. So it's not a true enclosure, but will keep most rain and wind out of the cab if you are looking to make an enclosed cab.

The ubiquitous Smittybilt can be mounted anywhere you want to send a bolt, either through the back or the bottom.

I have a Jeep Backbone rear cargo deck on a 2-door, and am planning to drill down through that and mount a Smitty vertical on there, right behind the left rollbar.

Is this a hinge replacement or does it mount to the bumper?

The Maximus-3 Carrier does not replace the hinges. It's brackets get sandwiched between the body and the Hinges and supports itself.
It takes all the weight completely off the tailgate.

The only time I have heard it make noise is on a washboard where the head of the shovel would flex and hit the Hi-Lift. I slide the Hi-lift handle isolator up and its now a Rubber shovel bumper!
