I put black plastic edge trim around it to clean it up and bolted some led running board lights to the flare. They look like the bushwacker ones

Unhappy

I like it, I wish I had gone with the non-painted fenders ...

did you cut the liner of the fender out? In the youtube video the guy does it but it doesn't seem necessary...

I separated the liner and cut it to fit back in the well and screwed it in with some self tappers. I ran It with out the liners for a while. Didn't like the look

Painted fenders cut just as easily and safely as the non painted ones. I cut mine with zero issues whatsoever. There are tons of pics around the net of others who have done the same.

My son and I cut some stock/textured flares we got off Craigslist, as I didn't want to cut my factory painted flares. So we took to cutting, and instead of leaving flat, we rolled the edge to give structural support. Then we painted/sanded/and clear-coated.

Turned out well. Can only post one pic at a time.

Those look great! How'd you roll the edge? And what do you find is the best tool to cut the fenders with?

I left the underliner hard plastic underneath the flare when i cut the flare itself. looks like you just dumped those. do your flares flap in the wind?

Thanks! We used a propane torch and heated the area we wanted to fold. Gotta wear gloves, as the plastic gets hot.
