Those are for you sway bars... to disconnect them, when you are offroading. Did a quick search and couldn't find the door disconnects. I just took mine off and when I put the doors back on I just left the screws out. Besides for them being easier to steal I don't think you will need the pins in..

Man, the things I save money for I'm glad i dont live in a commie state and dont need side mirrors or huge flares to cover my tires. Even if I technically do, Ive passed by many a cop doorless and tires exposed no questions asked. I live next to one and he said i was good lol.

But it is a nice feelin huh? I love it. I take my doors off for even just a short drive!

This may be kind of a dumb question.

I have a '10 JK 4 Door Sport (full doors power windows). The front doors came off no problem, pop the fuse, unscrew the bolts, and youre done.

The back doors Im kind of confused with. I can't find the easy pop off fuse, or it seems to be behind one of the door panels. Whats the best way to get the back doors off? Do I need a special tool to disconnect the fuse for those doors?

We went naked the first day we brought our baby home. We have no plans on putting her clothes back on either. One of the perks of living in So Cal.

I don't bolt the doors back on either. Takes me but a few seconds to take the doors off or put them back on. I got the mirror relo bracket that attaches to the mirror hinge from 4wd.com. I can't see the passenger side mirror when the doors are on but I can see the driver's side just fine. The doors stay off unless there is a 50% or better chance or rain or the temp drops below 60*. Oh, and the wife hates driving on the highway naked....but she is ok with it around town!

Have had the doors off for 2 weeks, top off for a month - who knew it would be dry for 6 weeks in Oregon.

Bought a driver side mirror (Harley), not because it's required here, but, because it's handy for changing lanes and backing up on narrow roads (old neck - doesn't swivel much)

Now I have to figure out how to turn on the interior light in the dark as there's no doors to open that trigger it - what a hardship.........

Sure?

Ripn and Chensley, are you sure I'm no expert, but that link is definitely not to a door accessory, that's for sway bars. As far as I know, remove the bolt, lift the door, pretty quick

Clear Lake-Nice jeep Personally imho, the only look for a JK is beefed up. If I could afford one, I'd own it I don't get you guys with the doors off and the top on I'm not being sarcastic, doesn't that just buffet like crazy?

I drove my TJ some the week I bought it with the doors off and the hard top on it. Didn't buffet at all. Then I took the hard top off and put the soft top on for summer. Haven't tried it that way, but why would I?

Ditto that Texas heat, just put my DirtyDog mesh top on a few weeks ago, makes a huge difference. Still have the 1/2 doors on, but the top has been off all summer.

It's not a fuse. Near the bottom of the B pillar, about 6 to 8 inches up from the floor is a panel that is about 4 or 5 inches square (or rectangle). Pop that panel and you will see your wire connector.

Turn the dash dimmer ALL THE WAY to bright and the interior lights will turn on. Located on the turn signal arm, just to the right of the headlight switch.

I actually ride with my soft top on, windows out, and doors off a lot. Keeps me a lot dryer if it rains, keeps easy access to the trunk area, and keeps you shaded when its really hot and sunny. No wind buffeting here

I saw this post and after reading some people having all kinds of headaches with taking off the doors I gave mine a go about a month ago (2010 JW Sport) and they took me like 2 minutes each to come off. I was like wow this was easy! I bought the T-50 and went to it they came off like butta I won't put them back on till it gets cold and if it rains and it has I can always put my top on.. all good.

I live in Charlotte, NC. I drive with my doors off everyday pretty much and have three police stations and two sherrif departments with three miles of me and no problems. That law is soo old they don't enforce it.... Ape bars on Choppers are illegal but everyone has forgotten that.

door of driving is great. just get some decent hangers for the garage wall to keep the doors up and out of the way.

I always have my doors off. In fact I don't even know where the bolts are for the doors. I take them off so frequently, I rather not have to deal with the bolts. I am planing to get the soft full doors so that I can travel further with the doors off. The softs are easier to store in the back.
