Looks like ordering for Dozer has closed. Long live Dozer. This marks the beginning of the end of the skittles colors.

Has anyone with a Dozer plastidipped their grill? Curious to see what it looks like. Been thinking about it.

Here's mine, saying goodbye to another American classic. Sadly, the only time I get to put her in 4 wheel drive here in east coast of FL is along the gravel-filled crawler transporter "roads" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crawlerway that leads to the former Space Shuttle Pads.

Ballistic Jesters, painted the little red bits to match and cleared the whole wheel. Bound to all come off after a few good wheeling trips.

Cheap wheels but ballanced perfect with the 35s.

How tall is your lift to fit those 35s?

I have a 2" spacer lift. Right not the rear rubs at full stuff a little but also have a 1" Daystar body lift to install to give me get a little extra clearance. The Daystar lift replaces the whole mount not just installing a plastic round spacer and longer bolts, and with 1" there should not bee to much issue with wiring and linkage.

After the BL goes in I will remove the bump stop extensions to see how close I can get it before it rubs and adjust the bump stops to suit.

I also trimmed the front air dam, and the rear pinch seam.

Very cool. This is exactly what I hope to do - minus the body lift...

What rubs in the rear? I have Bushwacker flats and was hoping that might provide the necessary clearance. I was thinking I might actually extend my bumpstop by a 1/2" or so as necessary. I figured gaining 1" ground clearance and sacrificing 1/2" of travel was a decent trade off.

If you have flats then you shouldn't have an issue. I think the JK can support 35 with no lift and flat fenders. My tire just barely rubbs the edge of the fender, I can actually still move without tearing anything up so I barely touch it.

Regardless of the bad rap body lifts get its a cheap solution to get another 2 tire sizes under your Jeep. 1" is barely noticable from the jeeps I have seen with them, some people say they look bad on a JK but I disagree, to each their own I guess.

Some issues with the manual shifting into the bottom row of gears, and having to cut the inner shift boot. I'm not interested in doing that so I ordered a leather shifter boot from redline to match my Saddle interior. Another guy said he put this on with his body lift and it got rid of the shifting problem. I guess two stiff rubber boots just causes too much bunching.

I had my heart set on a Dozer JKU and was pretty disappointed when the dealer said the colour had been discontinued. Fortunately they were able to find one for us (MY13, no less), and we only had to wait a week to get it. Really, really happy with it all!

Here it is at NASA's Deep Space Communications Complex just outside of Canberra.

So far all I've really done is new tires and wheels. Planning a lift, bumpers and skids.
