Finally got my first Jeep!

I bit the bullet and finally got my first jeep - a red rock 2010 wrangler unlimited Sport! Manual everything - I wanted the most basic model there was, a blank canvas on which to slowly modify over the years, and something I could hose out at the end of the weekend.
After 5 days and 200 km's, I could not be happier with my decision.

Congrats on the new ride. The fun is in the upgrades (although it hurts a little in the wallet). It's good to get what you want, not what Jeep or someone else thinks you need.

Have fun with it.

But...but...I like helping other people spend all their money! Can I still tell him what I think he needs?

Kidding!

Congrats on your new ride, Renick. Have fun.

Thanks guys for the welcome. Pictures will be coming shortly - though its not much to look at yet - just your bone stock unlimited sport with factory side steps and tow hitch.

I have been considering the terraflex 2.5" budget lift and the rest (except the K&N filter - going to get a brand new cold ir intake)of the stage 1 upgrade ala:
2007 Jeep Wrangler Stages Project - Stage 1 - Quadratec

These guys have nailed the look that I want, the only down side is that the tube bumper they have on it is not yet compatable with the 2010 JK - something about the airbag compatability etc etc etc, at least according to the guy I spoke to today from Quadratec.
I am after something that will still be a daily driver and yet allow me to get out on the trails/camping on the weekend.

Almost 3 weeks and 450km's, I love this jeep!

Save your money on the CAI. Bumpers have nothing to do with airbags.
