These items are standard on the Polar!

Mine came with them too
Also, Pat made a post in the info thread (I'm too lazy to look for it) that has a Dealer Connect printout with the FE options listed and it does list the slush mats.

According to Dealer Connect the FE also comes with mineral gray wheels - which none of us got yet

Guess what?!?

My wheels are IN!!!

I guess it pays to be a loud-mouthed bi ...uh, persistent person!

Dealer called me late this afternoon and they are being swapped out at 9:00 Monday morning.

If you want them, don't take NO for an answer! Although my dealer did tell me that there are only 31 left in Chrysler inventory. So if you want them, make sure you move fast!

So really there are only 28 wheels available.

7 cars worth. That's sure not many considering how many Freedoms they had to have sold.

I'm glad you are getting your wheels Star! Grats on your tenacity

Here they are! They really DO look much better with the grill and bumper wrappers than the bright silver...

The dealership just called and confirmed that my wheels are in. They won't be put on until next week, my schedule is to crazy until then.

Mr. Melmichigan isn't sure he's going to like them, he doesn't care for darker wheels on a whole. I promised him that if he doesn't like them then when I do my major mods in a year or two, which will include replacing the bumpers, then I'll get lighter ones and just replace the grill insert to match. I thought it was a good compromise and I think he'll like them if he gives it a chance. He never thought I'd get anywhere with Jeep so he never said anything!

Great news, Mel!

I hope Mr. Mel will give the new wheels a chance when he sees them. Everyone I've showed them to thinks it looks so much better and makes much more sense with the existing mineral grey trim.

Not yet, but IAMJEEP confirmed this afternoon that it is on a railcar here in Texas. They assured me it would be delivered to the dealer on Thursday. Hopefully I will get it before the snow and ice get here. Rest assured I will post pictures as soon as I lay eyes on it!

No dude, you are correct, we don't get that much snow at all. Usually just a dusting but every few years we do get a surprise. The ice is the biggest problem because it brings down trees and power lines but again, not every year. I think last year we only had about 4 days with temps below 32 degrees so yes, our winters are generally mild. We got off this year to a quick start though with a winter weather warning 2 weeks ago for ice and snow. It turned out to be false with temps never dropping below 34. What I'm worried about now is that the weather channel is preaching doom and gloom for us Thursday and Friday once again for snow and ice. In fact, my weather radio sounded off a few hours ago with a message that we are under a winter weather watch for Thursday and Friday. YUCK!!! It would just be my luck that I would take delivery of my Jeep and we would also have the snow and ice and I couldn't enjoy my new ride for a few days. That would be a bummer but we do have my wife's 2013 JKU Sahara so we are ready for the weather, whatever it decides to throw at us.

Ha! Welcome to Texas, me!

Did I happen to mention I am from Florida? Texas weather was supposed to be SO similar!

Ha Ha StarBrite! It's not as bad for me because I'm from southern Oklahoma so living in Arlington isn't that much different. In fact, I was back in Oklahoma all day today taking care of some business. The saying is that if you don't like the weather today, wait till tomorrow and it will change. LOL BTW, I ordered my wheels and tires this morning before heading to Oklahoma. I also have ordered a couple different RAM mounts based on your review.

The cold actually isn't as bad here as I make it out to be. I've been LOVING the cold nights, leaving the windows open (and saving on the AC bill!), and burrowing in the blankets. It's when I have to LEAVE the house that it gets harder. LOL

The saying in Florida is if you don't like the weather, wait FIVE MINUTES!

I really LOVE my RAM mounts. They just work. I've never had any issues with them falling out of the holders or anything. I'd love to hear what you think when you get them!

Did it include slush mats for the rear seats as well, or just the front?
