Foxy Roxy cut her teeth on some off road trails in Big Bend Nat'l Park today! Not big stuff, but off road nonetheless. She's fully stock for the time being and did great! It was so much fun!

Drop down tailgate is coming along. Way more difficult than I had hoped for.

You can buy one, I dont believe they are a vendor on here so just do a google search for "drop down tailgate conversion Jeep JK" and you should be able to find it pretty quick.

Seems to be a theme to vehicle color choices.

My spare has been in the "trunk" section of my Jeep for over a year. I don't run a bumper or tire mount. You will for sure have to figure out where you want to put your spare tire. A roof mount would work until you have to get your tire down to change a blown out one or you are topless. I have a 4 door and don't use my Jeep daily so putting the tire inside is fine for me.

Ya I cant imagine driving anything else. I have dogs I pack arou d in the back. I took my back seat out the day I bought it. So I gues drop tailgate is not an option. I do t want to have to pull down a big heavy tire from the top in the event I have a flat....

For a while I had my spare standing up pushed up against the drivers side rear and tied using ratchet straps. It worked pretty good and cleared up a lot of floor space. It was still kind of a pain but not nearly as bad as getting it off the roof.

Na, have never regretted moving the spare. It stays in the rear compartment so I am not running spareless. I dont have kids so I have plenty of space for the spare tire and gear. I am actually going to mount a basket to the roof this week. The spare will go in the basket.

Hey Everyone, new to the forum. My first post was a fail because I accidentally posted on the 2 door thread. But I'm here to correct my mistake and introduce my new Rubicon.

Shift from TJ to JK

I had to wear dark sunglasses and a trenchcoat while posting this, but I have made the jump over to the JK (nobody tell the TJ guys, they haven't noticed my seat is empty).

I don't look at it as stock.....more of a...blank canvas. First up, wheels and tires. This forum will provide much of the research. I wanted the Black Rock wheels I had on my 2000 TJ, but it appears they are not available for the JK....
