I went with the pioneer avh-1400 head unit, alpine pcx-9 amp, focal component in the front and rear, and a jl audio 12 sub in a down facing box. Sounds pretty good compared to the horrible factory system. I re-wired everything from scratch but totally worth it.
I have the same amp with a pioneer deck, 2 6-3/4 comps Rockfords in the front dash with tweeters and crossovers, 2 JBL mids in my roll bar and 2 10" rockfords subs in the back down firing.
Awesome sound I'll take pics tomorrow and post em
Nice. Very similar to my setup. JVC head unit, Kicker 5ch Amp, Kicker components front & rear, and a Kicker 12" ported enclosure in the rear. It turned out sounding better (at volume) than expected. Just lacking some time alignment for the best sound possible (within reason).
