I did a canine theme to my JK, as my wife and I run a small dog grooming business. My jeep is an X but I removed the X decals and replaced with a custom made "JK-9" and the Custom "RUBARKON" for the hood.
Here is the all black Wrangler decal. I can't decide if it's too dark and gets lost or I dig the subtlety of it. I have a red outline version to try out but it's kind of a one way deal. so I'm kind of on the fence...
It's personal choice. I applied a black carbon fiber Wrangler decal on my black Sahara thinking I would like the subdued look, but I found I prefer something that stands out more. So I went with the two-tone medium charcoal metallic /silver decal. You an see the picture in this thread above. I'll see if I have an old pic with the carbon fiber to compare.
Stock "Wrangler" decal that came with the Black Bear edition. Really like the contrast and helps with the blacked out, white theme I'm going for. View attachment 3108073
What's a good solution to get the old factory decals off ?
