I think these count as 35's? 2.5 TeraFlex lift with shocks and Mickey Thompson LT315/70r17.

This was my first outing with them and to say I'm impressed would be falling short of how well they actually performed.

315/70/R17 and a Teraflex leveling kit. No problems with Spidertrax spacers, Rugged Ridge Hurricane fenders, and a trimmed pinch seam & rock rails.

Is it feasible to get in a set (5) of 35 x 12.5 x 17s (wheels & tires) for less than $2000 without having to resort to steel wheels or lower quality tires?

We started shopping by pulling up wheels on TireRack, Qtec and other sites. Of course, the wife likes all the expensive $220-250 ea. wheels (XD, Fuel, DCepek), and I want a good set of tires (was looking at KM2s, but after hearing bad feedback I'm thinking Ridge Grapplers). If she can find something she likes from Pro Comp, can we beat the $2k floor?

When are the best times (sales) to shop for wheels and tires, and is there money to be saved by buying as a package, by buying separately vs. from the same company, or by having them set up (TPMO, RF balanced) by the seller and self installing vs. shipping to a local installer for setup/install?

Last questions - can you run 35s on a stock Rubicon suspension if you limit articulation prior to installing the lift (i.e. no offroading), assuming adequate backspace? Will daily driving rub the fenders, body or suspension components? What is the typical install order? Suspension > HD carrier > wheels/tires? Something else?

Thanks in advance!

This 37" wheel and tire combo is a 100lbs per corner(lighter than most 35" set ups).

I paid 1100 for my 315/70/17 terra grappler g2 and 700 for my black rock 909d

5 wheels and 5 tires shipped to my door and another 100 to mount.

Some at some odd times, not when flexing out(only on odd/off bumps on the bushwacker flat rear pinch seam in front of the rear tires/I may get rear arms one day?)anywhere!there is no rubbing anywhere else as a 2.5" lift/bushwacker flats on 37" tires is more than enough lift as you can see...I have a lot more up travel space than with the stock fenders.the higher lifts just really cheat the shortened wheelbase of a lift and that's probably why some guys do a 3.5" lift with 37" tires?its just not needed, adjustable arms will Center/put your wheels back to their original position as any lift shortens your wheelbase.in the same regard...the higher the lift...the more reason you'll need adjustable arms to get that stock wheelbase back/wheels centered.
