Ok so why does my jeep (92) on 35's with a 3" skyjacker and supposedly 3" body lift look lower than many of these pics with jeeps on 2.5 and 3" lifts?? Is it my fenders maybe? I say supposedly on the 3" body lift because it was on when I got it. It definitely has a body lift because the bushings are obvious and I'm sure it's at least 2" but very likely 3". Must be my fenders?
Why does everyone take out the rake in there jk"s I was looking at them and noticed that ? And they all look alike not one stands out all with the same look I think that look is way overdone
Also not a fan of rake. Hoping the lift I just ordered doesn't have too much rake, or none at all. Rake on a JK doesn't make sense to me. The lightly tilted the windshield to try and make it just a little more aerodynamic than a cardboard box, and then add rake, and the windshield is almost straight up and down again :nonono:
I guess I fall ouside the norm, my rancho had no rake on my jku, and I just recently added and inch to the rear. My pinch seam originall was perfectly level with my hard top on and up 3/4 with it off. It was ok , I just preferred a little rake on the unlimited. I agree I like less with the 2 door...
3.5 RK .. Slight rake "by eye"
Measuring the ends of each pinch seem its level .. Thats what matters. A level jeep measured by eye sits in reality sits nose high.
Nothing wrong with a little southern ass squat. Winch and front bumper will level it out nicely. I had same thing going on and after the front bumper and winch it sits darn near level
Haha. Actually that was day i got lift and new wheels tires. I had my 285/17 wrangler MT and wheels in the the back in this pic. It has just a little sag to it now. Wanted it that way so when I get bumper and winch I should be pretty straight
Glad you two have a sense of humor. If you are looking for a full width front bumper, let me suggest the Rampage Recovery. Rick at Quadratec hooked me up and it looks killer, is built like a tank and goes nicely with the factory fender flares. Not to mention you can get it in gloss black.
2.5 teraflex coil lift with 325/65r/18 fierce attitude tires and 1.5 spacers!
