Just bought a new jeep a few weeks ago and trying to wrap my head around what i actually want to mod.....first is a light bar, i found one for 50 bucks on amazon with over 200 reviews of 4 stars so im wondering whats the big difference in that in the high dollar lights...I tend to like nicer things if it just out right a better product and honestly i wont be using it for much more than spotting deer and turning it on because it looks cool lol

heres the one on amazon let me know what you think

I started out with an amazon lightbar on my jeep, it worked awesome for what it was. A cheap alternative to the really high dollar ones. It was good light output and decent quality. But like a free or low cost sample from a drug dealer it got me hooked down the path of the glorious LED. Shortly after I ended up buying a very very nice 50 inch bar from a local store here (50 percent off how could I say no?!) and a pair of lights for the A pillar, then came LED headlights haha. I can honestly say that I am much happier with the more expensive bar but that I was also happy (but wanting more output) with the amazon bar. So in the end I would say get the amazon bar, but be prepared to start saving up for more and better ones eventually.

How it currently looks with all its LED

Hope this helped, shoot me a pm if my rambling was unclear.

Can you tell me more about the headlights? They look pretty good, how do they look when on and are you satisfied with them? They vibrate at all? Were they simple to install? How much were they? Etc. etc. Appreciate it man

the Eyeyourlife ones on Amazon are inexpensive and last for a long time. both my friend and I have them and he has lots of hours on them in the past couple of years and has only had one issue where it stopped working. he opened it up and with just a little solder on the connections and it has worked fine ever since. I have been happy with mine even though i don't use it a ton, but for me the lower cost was worth it.

Just found a killer LED light bar that Yamaha is selling on their site...It's going to be pricier than your amazon bar but the glow affect that comes from the halo style light is so much cooler. They even come in 15 inches and 27 inches so you could put it on your roof, bumper, or both. Something to look into that is different than what is already out there...

See links: first for 27 inch, 2nd for 15 inch

Here is my Kawell brand 20" light bar that I bought off from Amazon. For the wiring harness and the light bar it was less than $75 shipped to me. I ended up making my own mount that actually comes off the radiator support and under the grille. I also used a different switch for inside that was easy to mount without any drilling or modifying. My switch is mounted at the bottom of the dash over at the side. I simply utilized the existing bolt that holds the bottom of the dash firmly in place.

Leaning towards the Rigid Industries 50" light bar…more expensive but it sits lower for less wind noise and I haven't seen any rust complaints from anyone. I am just trying to justify the price in my head LOL. I also like that their mount comes with a gasket to protect the paint.

I spoke with Rigid Industries…there is no fix for wind noise on the SR series, but there is for the E series. They are working on the SR series fix. I have very monir wind noise (slight whistle) at around 55-60mph. I could probably mess with the angle, as I have it aimed slightly downward, but I don't really want to keep loosening and tightening it. The light looks great and is really bright for having only one line of LED's. I opted for the spot/flood combo.

Yeah the added wind noise is the whistling. You can take some door guard strips from auto zone or oriellys and put on the back and cover the fins or even the door trim for a screen door to break up the air flow over the fins and that will stop the whistling that's what I did on mine and it's fine now!! I can post some pics if you'd like. And the plus to this is you get to knee your perfect angle of light too!!

Whelen engineering lights, can't buy them from a jeep store but man they rock, twice as bright as any 50 inch light bars I have seen so far. A bit on the expensive side but worth every penny. These bad boys are 30,000 lumens. Massive range and great spread you can even split up each one between flood and spot.
