Just installed mirror relocators from quadratec, Rugged Ridge Mirror Relocation Bracket kit and the driver side has a good field of view. On the passenger side I can only see half of the mirror without leaning slightly. OK purchase for the price but if I would of known this I would tried another brand.
idk about the jk's, but on the tj's all of the mirror relocation brackets do that same thing not matter what brand. with the doors on you can only see part of the mirror, but w/ the doors off they work great.
Been thinking of doing this myself, with a twist. I have been looking at the Rugged Ridge brackets but have read that you cant see out the passenger side with the doors on. My idea is to get a set of 03-06 TJ mirrors to bolt onto the brackets. I'm thinking the TJ mirrors longer "arm" might move the mirror away from the body enough for it to be used. I have no idea if it will work or not. Guess I'll just have to try it and see.

Are these the same ones you guys are talking about? I was considering this purchase but wanted some feedback as to their usefulness. I understand it's a quick fix for a legality issue, but it sure would be nice to actually be able to SEE out of them!
I installed the same one on mine and the stock mirrors did not fit in all the way so I had to grind them down a bit. Put one of those round little mirrors on the passenger side mirror to avoid the blind spot.
Any pixs of your jeep?
I just joined today and will post abunch of mine. I have done quite a bit to it.

Those are the ones, on the passenger side I have to lean slightly to the right to see all of it. I am going to machine 1" spacer for the passenger side so I can get a better view.
