My Jeeps photo album

Since I do not have a build thread since my Jeep is pretty tame compared to the "built" Jeeps I figured I would do a photo album for mine.

Didn't do any rock crawling this weekend. Did a very scenic dirt road. Got to drive fast which usually does not happen.

A couple of more pics from this past weekend.
This one is of my tailgate conversion so that its a drop down instead of opening to the side. Still have some stuff to finish but its coming along.

Seconds one is just another shot of the beautiful AZ desert.

3/22/14, Went camping and completed almost 40 miles off road. In the rocky bumpy AZ desert.

Finally got a flat with the BFG KM2's 31000 miles. Not bad considering.

Yeah, I think its rated for 400 lbs on the tailgate. Its nice because you can use it as a step to get to the roof if you had to. You can sit on it as well, how amazing is it to sit on your tailgate? My only problem is now I have to move the cb antannae, it gets in the way when the tailgate is lowered.

Thanks for the link.

Ya, I've been under my Willys for the past 8-9 months. There's a local mil. veh. restoration group that's having an event @ the Marana airport the first weekend in April so that's my goal.

Its an annual event that's open to the public. There will be several 40's area vehicles as well as well as people in period uniforms and cloths. We will be camping out in pup tents. There will also be a fly-in of some WWII aircraft as well.

I'm at work right now so I'll try to post up a flyer when I get home.

Saturday we had a little fundraiser/meet and greet. After we ate we went and played a little.

Sunday I went to Florence and had some more fun.
Got in the Jeep at 530 am and got home at 915 pm. It was a very long day.
This is me high centered.
New tires should solve that problem.

Waiting my turn.

I will hopefully have more to post later.

Since I wasn't able to go offroading last weekend and I wont be able to this weekend because of a bad head that will hopefully be replaced on Friday I have decided to post what I am doing to my Jeep.
Its not very exciting but I will be in Moab May 24-30th and want to make sure its up to snuff.
This is what I have ordered or have planned to order
1 Artec Truss, front axle (already in the garage)
Fox shocks w/ reservoir (on order)
Adams 1310 rear driveshaft (on order)
JKS™ Front Adjustable Coil Over Spacer ACOS (on order)
37" Cooper Discoverer STT (will order next week)

If I can get rid of my Blazer thats sitting at my house I will also be getting full skids. Not sure which ones yet.

Finally got back on the trail. Synergy Drag Link, Synergy Tie Rod, Front Upper and Lower Ball Joints installed, Fox shocks installed and ready to wheel. I got a run together 22 vehicles showed up and we were off.

1st obstacle, just to make sure everyone is willing.

Next little section, with the water makes it nice and slippery

Folks have stacked rocks here, but its still about a 4ft step up. Lockers truly do help here.

Getting ready to take on the next section

Pointed in the right direction

And here I am stuck, the trailer hitch caught on a rock and all 4 tires going couldn't get me off of it.

Winch hooked up

And I am moving again

This area broke a windshield on my Jeep before

Going into the mud a little, well cow crap/mud

Sliding down of the wall into the mud

Getting myself a little stuck

Laying my Jeep on its side

Back on all 4

End of the day

Of course I did break a ujoint and luckily was able to drive home without to much fuss. I just lost a cap so it was still holding on by 3 sides. All in all a good day but now the Jeep is down again.
