I've had my jeep for less than a month now, but compelled to go places I couldn't before.
These arent serious trails and flex shots, so apologies!

Her 1st day at home.

Making sure the doggies are comfortable.

With my mom's boyfriend, climbing whatever hill we find that has some tire tracks.

Not even sure we're suppose to be up here...

My sister and I had a good laugh at the contrast of vehicles we drive, she has a prius which is good for three environment and mine, well, dominates the environment.

Some light camping, very light;)

Went to the local ohv to play around, about 1 hour drive.

Pulled out this guy. He should of had proper tires, they were balder than Patric Stewart.

It was rainy this morning and decided to drive up the mountain since it's so close (30 minutes drive).
It was extremely foggy so I did a quick stop, doggies had to go business.

I found an unmarked trail off the road, no signs or anything, but a definite trail people have been on. Drove about 10 minutes into before it got real thick and had to back out (scratched the rear gearbox...) and went back on road. Amazing spot! So quiet and you can see huge flumes of moisture flying up.

Greetings!

Today I am in beautiful joshua tree national park.
As soon as I claimed my campground, I headed towards the geology road, meant for 4x4 only as the roads are not maintained and deep puddles due to this storm.
Still raining now.

Here's Nara and Max enjoying the sights and smells, took them for a bit of walking.

Here's a view of the mountains behind us, sun will show for a few minutes followed by light to heavy rain.

A quick photo, forget where. Probably during the geology tour, judging by the mud on the sides. Unfortunately I did not have enough time to complete as the sun was setting and I wanted to set a fire before it got dark.
But did find a nice camp ground in the middle of the park.

I dedicated not to bring a tent with the heavy rain, it would be just too muddy for this trip.
But I did bring extra blankets and sleeping bags, I forgot a pillow but I will improvise!

And my fire for the night. Luckily it's not raining too bad and washing out my firepit, it's actually making it burn longer.

Thanks for viewing!
More to come!

Nara and Max got to see snow for the 1sr time, they seem to enjoy it a lot and didn't want to go back into the jeep, which is rare!

Unfortunately my jeep didn't see much snow other than the pile up on the side of the road.
Great views, sorry my camera skills are wack.

More ohv goodness

Going on my arizona trip next week!

I'm back from my trip, I made a small journey to sedona arizona for a 3 day camp trip. I logged about 900 miles for the trip here (ca) to back.

My camp didn't open till 2 pm and it was 11 am so I had some time to burn. I went to the schnebly road trail and it was great, nothing to hard for even a stock wrangler.

It was a beautiful day and perfect weather for me, around 55 and some sun.

On the way back down the trail I took my dogs for a short hike around the gorgeous landscape, they wanted to smell everything, even rocks..

Getting closer to camp, it was such a nice day I had to keep stopping and soak in the views.

This is the camp site I had reserved, right by the creek which is about 20 feet away. Luckily the lady on the phone during reservation was nice and got me the best spot, away from neighbors and lights and close to a creek.

Unpacking all my stuff for the 3 days I'll be staying here.

As soon as I set up camp, off we go to explore sedona!
I took advice from the other members here and went to my next spot, broken arrow.

This trail is a lot shorter but has steeper rock faces than the 1st trail, schnebly hill.
But I had an amazing time and no trail damage!

Thanks!

In the future I want about a 2.5 or 3 inch lift, I'll stick with 17" wheels but get an additional pair for winter camping as it can get icy up the mountains, only thing keeping me from camping there now. Big bear got lots of snow!

As for the front and rears, the stock ones do perfectly fine for my traveling, I'm not crawling rocks that are too difficult.

Will do a bumpers change as well, plastic isn't a pretty sight hehe.

In 2 weeks I am doing a light camp in Malibu beach, ca.

Thanks everyone!

The air compressor works great, very easy to use and maybe about the same speed as a gas station air pump.
All you do is hook it up to your battery, turn on jeep, turn on compressor, and air up.

My dogs jump in my jeep every time I open it, so I can tell they love being in it, so they go everywhere I go except work. Then max cries!

It's been over 2 months... called them and they said the dmv can be slow...

I want to take off that dealer sticker from my windshield!

California has some beautiful wilderness for sure! I can access the beach, mountains, canyons, deserts all within 1 hour drive.
We also have the oldest, tallest, and heaviest trees on the planet, that's about a 8 hour drive. Will be doing a trip up north sometime in the fall.
