Welcome to the fold What gears do you have on that? They'll make a WORLD of difference in how the JK feels power-wise. Also, good to see a 4-door Sahara getting dirty for a change- not NEARLY enough of that going around! Mark W.

You might need to do a regear due to the size of the tires you put there. What size tires did you get?

Get some 4.88 gears and you'll be good with zero regret.

Mark that sounds like a challenge! I'm just waiting for the next rainfall.

Definitely change your gears. I believe the stock is 3.21 and 3.73 for a trail rated. 4.56 gears will get you better fuel economy, 4.88 will get you better off road performance. Some guys will even put in 5.13 to run 35s, but I wouldn't recommend that unless you change out your front to a Dana 44.

Is it manual, or automatic? Auto is 3.73. MOST non-Rubicon 6-speeds are 3.21. Re-gear to 4.88 either way, and get a Superchips programmer. You'll thank us later Mark W.

You'll definitely be able to move those tires easier starting out.

^ That's a solid price. If you're planning on wheeling it, I'd also consider adding a locker, or at LEAST an LSD. Huge gains in off-road traction (vs. a stock open diff- Google the difference! Or search- been covered TO DEATH! ), and not a TON of $. Easiest to do it while the axles are already opened up to re-gear- Mark W.
