I made a bracket and mounted mine under the running board so I can still use them with the doors off.

Those are dope as hell, but does it interfere or cause problems when you take the doors off?? because i want them but wont get them if it makes it harder to take the doors off because of the wiring

I can get a pic later of the brackets I made.

I mounted mine underneath my jeep so they have nothing to do with the doors. I didn't want to deal with another wire to unhook when removing the doors and also wanted to be able to turn them on without the doors.

Do you have a problem with the lights getting dirty, and stop projecting? I assume when the are part of the doors, they stay clean when the doors are closed.

BTW, they are incredibly cool looking.

I haven't had that issue yet but haven't taken it in any serious mud yet either. They are easily accessible standing next to the jeep so if they do get dirty/muddy I can just wipe off real quick.

And thanks. I'm really happy with them. I just ordered another set, gonna take these apart and try to put in green leds in them, then think of somewhere else to mount the other two. Lol.

I tried to take it apart and insert 4 individual green leds in it and it wouldn't light up the whole logo. I'm guessing if you were to change the bulb/color it would have to be a Cree light or something with a wider pattern. I ended up just leaving mine white.

Automotivelightstore.com is where I got mine. Or Morris 4x4 has the oracle ones. Or MrKustom.com has some for $30 but not oracle.
