Well thanks for the heads up on the flag direction I'm not military so I didn't know what does the "charge position " mean ? Like attack or what also when flags fly the go all directions .

#74 ·
Yeah thats sort of what they mean, but you're not wrong in displaying it the way you have it. As a matter of fact, you are correct per U.S. code.

Hey Z-TJ I love that black on black stealth mode Rubi sticker

Pixeldecals.com if you look at both pictures the late evening sun was reflecting on the decal making it silver & black in the next pic

Regarding the flag, the easiest way to understand the placement rule on the side of a vehicle or moving body is to picture a real flag on a pole blowing in the wind as the vehicle or body carries it forward. In that case, it is clear that the Union is always forward, regardless of which side you're viewing it from.

The "blowing wind" visual is the reason that US Code differentiates between stationary and moving placements...

Will somebody just post a photo of the CORRECT way the flag is supposed to be displayed on a vehicle? Wouldn't it just be a whole lot easier than carrying on a debate over it?

I'd love to put some flags on my fenders, but damn...

That's what I'm wondering. Just trying to figure out how I can put them on the Fenders the correct way.

I really dig the "colorless" flags. They look really cool. :thumb:

Without hijacking, can I get some opinions from people on what they think would look better on a Bright Silver Metallic, the "colored" flags or the "black and white" flags?

I really can't decide.

OP, definitely a big improvement from white to black.

I also swapped from white to reflective black on my Commando Green.
I didn't know they made the swap at the factory from white to black. Nice to know.

I'm digging the flags on the hood cowl area. I wonder what color would look most subdued and blend in with Commando Green. Would black look best?

Most definitely the monochrome, IMO.

If you already have reflective black lettering, I'd stick with that for the flag.

I went back and forth on placement....cowl or not. I think they look good there.

FYI for those ordering...the reflective black can look almost silver at time.
