Pics of front mud flaps on painted fenders

I recently took of my stock running boards and now I'm noticing that i have rock chips on the rear painted flares. I'm hoping that a set of front mud flaps will help stop that, but I don't know if they will look weird with the painted fenders.

If you go off road don't get the mud flaps. It will waist your money and the mud will ripe them off.

Not true I have them on my painted fenders and have had no issues off road, they have been caked solid with mud too.

I believe teraflex has a removable rubber version that removes with just a pin for off roading. Rocks, especially backing over big ones can rip the plastic ones off pretty quick. At least that's what I watched on my friends rig

The factory running boards are good for two things. One... obviously as a step to help short legged creatures get up and into the seats. The other... to keep rocks from flinging off the front tires and damaging the rear fenders and doors.
Why did you take them off? If what you're going for is a more rugged look than the stock steps, you might want to go with the Ace sliders. They will deflect most of the rocks.
If you don't have something there, over time you will pretty much strip the paint off the front of the rear fenders.

I have the Bushwacker Pocket Fenders on my JK. I am looking to put front Mud Flaps on. Has anyone attached flaps to these fenders? The curvature seem to be a bit different than the stock fenders.

I installed the jeep flaps, non-painted, on my Billet Jeep and they look great. I don't go off road, but from driving around, I see a lot of stuff on the inside of the flap that would've ended up on my rear flare, so I'm very happy that I installed them.
