Rubicon Wheels on a non Rubicon

I have a 2014 2-door sport. I really like the stock grey wheels that come on the Rubicon models. I was just wondering if anyone had tried these on a non Rubicon model, if so if you could post a picture?

Thanks

It is so common that there are probably not even dedicated threads because so many people do it.

Besides, it would look exactly like a Rubicon minus the stickers, rock rail, and red shocks.

By law you are not allowed to put Rubi wheels on anything but a Rubi.

There are many people who have done this. It will look like a Rubi without the stickers.

Now I just need my 2015 to come in from Toledo ...

Wow awesome deal! Been watching locally and haven't seen less than $1200 asking price.

Agreed, it definitely changes the look for the better.
I didn't like my Sahara rims or tires, so glad I swapped them.

Cheers
Paul

I bought a base Wrangler with no options other than A/C. As soon as it rolled off the truck, I had the dealer install a set of brand new take off Rubicon wheels and reset the pinion factor to the upgraded tire size.

I gave $1000 for 5 take offs and sold the Sport take offs for $350.

Same here ... there are a couple sets locally on Craigslist but unfortunately the sellers think they must be lined with gold!

Love them! For reference, I gave $1k for 5 black/milled silver rubicon wheels/tires with 1400 miles on them. Seller wanted 1200. Local pick-up in ohio.

That's a great deal, to me at least. I'd scoop 5 up for that price!

just bought a set for my Polar.. can't wait to get them. Did you guys have them balanced before you put them on? The ones I bought were off a 2014 Rubi, I assume they are balanced but not sure if I need to have them re balanced before putting them on.. ???

We picked up a set of new take off 10A wheels with KM2s the day after we got our JKU Sport last year. We've wheeled the hell out of them as we've made modifications and upgrades to the Jeep. They were a great starting point. Yesterday 5 new ATX 195 Cornice wheels showed up on my doorstep. Next up, getting new rubber for them. Soon those 10As will be looking for a new home!

My used '12 Rubi came with '13 Rubi grey wheels. When the Toyo Open Country tires wear out I'll likely switch to Duratracs for a more rugged look... although I'm quite pleased with the performance of the Toyo's. I do limited off-roading... more concerned about getting through big snow... and really like the ride I get with my Rubi, so don't want to screw that up trying to upgrade with lifts, bigger wheels, etc....

I really like the look of the grey wheels with my white body... more so than the black wheel version.

This past week I bought a 2015 Baja yellow with black Rubicon's on it from the dealer. The Rubicon they came off of was lifted and 35's put on it, so I was fortunate to get them. I hope to post pics soon!
