I have bad visualization how much any given trailer weighs. I've seen Wranglers towing 20ft Pontoon boats and a variety of utility trailer sizes. Show me your Wrangler towing something!
Coleman popup 1700# Only got the change to tow it to winter storage. 15 mile trip with the majority of it at 70mph. Was not squirley and with the electric braking system, stopped real easy. Can't wait to get it out this spring/Summer. With the 2.5" lift, I will be getting a dropped hitch bar or an adjustable one.
Around 2500-3200lbs loaded coming outta Fish Lake, UT after camping for a week. This is in Beaver, UT. Chevy truck 8' bed converted, covered in herculiner inside/out and then painted. Bought another jeeper's take offs to match my stock wheels. Its my hauler around town as well.
I tow my Merlin Rocket home built woody sailboat. I launched it off the banks of Lake Travis,Texas, two days ago for the first time. My Copper Brown JK did an awesome job towing it! Oh, yes, the sailboat didn't disappoint either... :iamhappy:
The new rig when I was adjusting the hitch height on our Chaser.
Last weekend was great up at China Wall, but the storm that just blew through left 1-3' in a lot of the places we go camping. But hey, it's spring time in the Rockies.
