Show me your 3-4.5 inch lift on 37's

Trying to decide on a lift size, please include the brand and size of the lift. Would y'all recommend regearing with 37's?

I was looking into 37s but my shop said a regear was mandatory to regain lost power. Not sure how accurate that is. Hell, I wish I had more power to push 35s.

Well, this thread is not good for my wallet.

All of a sudden, my 35's seem insufficient.

I just installed my AEV 4.5 lift on 37x12.5x17 Nitto Trail Grapplers with AEV Argent Pintlers last night. The instal took me about 10 hours. It was pretty straight forward but definitely takes time. I am really impressed with how my Jeep drives and how smooth it is. I'll get more pics together soon.

Mopar 3" with 5.13's. I LOVE this lift. Not a single issue (going to 37's required pinch seam trimming and an adjustable front track bar but was perfect with 35's) after over 30K miles of 50/50 road and trail ops...

AEV Bumpers front and back. Yes I got the full 4.5+
but its brand new so it might settle a bit. I was sold on the AEV r&d and wanted to fit the 37s without issue. So far so good. I also like the look of the factory flares with the big tires. Now I have a date with the gear shop for some gussets, sleaving and some 4:88s

Are those 20" wheels with the 37's.

Also did you get the long arm setup?

Those are 18 inch Fuels as I wanted a little more rubber on the sidewalks then 20s allow and no it is a standard AEV lift. I understand there are kits that can flex more but I was looking for excellent on road with good off-road performance.

depends on your area. For me it was about 1200 for both including parts.

How bad did you feel the need to regear with 37's?

Could you live with it in Florida? I think you could. It will hold 6th on the highway but just barely. Up in the hills 6th is about useless. The rubi has the 4 to 1 transfer case so it still works for off road. Personally for 1600 bucks I would rather have the jeep be 100 percent so I am getting the 488 on monday. I would say you can get then lift and tires and go a couple months without issue to save for the gears. I would do that if I had to.
