When did you order? Maybe it's possible your order didn't make their last run of Gecko, since it's scheduled to be built out by mid December.

I placed my order on September 12th. From what I gather, Canadian orders get lumped together. Apparently there's one 2000km (no idea what that is in miles) away from me in Saskatchewan, so trying to get that one!

Otherwise looks like I have to choose between Rock Lobster or Commando...

I can finally join this party. Took delivery of my Gecko Green 20113 JKUR. It was a long involed story to get it, but it arrived. After dealing with a few dealers in Dallas, I had to find my own. The story I was getting is that the color I wanted, Gecko, with the features I wanted, was not available. After searaching and find a couple for them, I was told they were either sold, or the dealer that had it wouldn't swap. Well I finally found exactly what I wanted in Albuquerque New Mexico. Last Friday I contacted them. Yes they had what I wanted. Closed the deal via email on Monday and they had it transported to me at my office. The only problem is I can't stop smiling when I'm driving this thing. After having Jeeps in the 70's and 80's it's good to be back "in the fold". I'll try for pics tomorrow.

I ordered my Gecko in early Feb and didnt get mine till mid April. You are right that Canadian orders are lumped in batches. If that Gecko is SK doesnt work out there is one at Countryside Chrysler in Essex, ON. That is where I bought mine. It is a Sahara Unlimited 6 speed, hard top. Only option on it is trailer tow package.

It was incredible! We were down there about a month after I bought the Jeep. That picture was also the first time I had the doors and top off on the new Jeep. (Bought it about a month before.) We'll be back down there next summer!

We ordered our first "real" Jeep last month in Gecko, Had a 07 Liberty for for 3 years that we really liked but have a Journey now for the past year we don't care for. I also have a lifted and built up 86 Comanche for fun. Really looking forward to getting our JKU sometime this month and I will be sure to post pics when it arrives.

Really liking what everyone has posted.. jotting down idea etc..

Just plastidip. Masked and painted it the first night I had it. Whole grille, front of hood and then back along hinge lines. I did for aesthetics and also to prevent rock chips since this is the first vehicle I have had without a clear bra. I really like it though, and would bed line the same pattern, but the wife likes the idea of plastidip and being able to remove it later. So, I will leave it as is until I get a new hood. I will try to snap some good pics (non phone) later and post em up.

Very easy to take care of! You dont really notice how dirty it is untill you wash it. I am very happy with my color choice.

Did the gutter guard grille mod today. I'm not completely sold on it. I'm thinking about plasti-dipping or VHT nite-shading the parking lights.

Gecko is gone. You can't order it anymore. Still some on the dealer's lots.
Mine stays cleaner looking than I thought it would. Having said that, I find my Jeep 2 door to be time consuming to wash. I love it though.
