We bought the Sahara. Now time to blacken it up like the sport for sale in the showroom. Anyone looking to trade a black hardtop for our gecko green?

I wanted to be CERTAIN that my jeep remained "owned by a girl" and didn't want it to look masculine. I bought it stock and almost $10k later I am ALMOST finished modifying it. I have had a great time making into something out of the ordinary! Everyone LOVES it and enjoy watching a 5'3" lady hop out of a Gecko Green Jeep!! I can do it in my 4" heels even with a lift on it!!

Yes, I would trade mine. I have the same car you have, a 2013 Gecko Sahara. But I'm in New Jersey.

I de-sahara'd the bumpers, added the bushwacker hood and tailgate guard that matches the bumper texture, and am shopping for some oem black fenders. Slowly getting there, this colour looks great with the black accents IMHO.

It sure does, black and Gecko look great. Last week I plasti dip the grill black, I really like how it looks. I also did the same for the wheels. Here are some pics of some of the things I've done.

I'm going to try protect dip on my rims in a similar pattern to the wheels on the polar edition in this link. A few members have done it, and it looks great. After seeing your grill, that'll be another Saturday job..lol

Why bother searching for OEM fenders when you can plastidip or bedline your current fenders?

Latest and greatest. Did the grill insert before the Adams Jeep Jam. Been travelling the whole summer, so it's been easy mods when I get to them. Saving up for the gears and lockers now.

I had a 2010 sport unlimited before this one, and really liked the stock black fenders against the mango tango. I think it would look great against the gecko as well. I could plasti dip, but I don't imagine it would clean up as well as the black plastic would.
