So a lot of new LED Technology is coming out:

Headlights
Fog Lights
Interior Lights
@$%&! Lights
and those other @%^#!! Lights
Light Bars

I tried some and ended up unsatisfied... So I am looking for all of my options and I am sure other people are also so I figured this would be the place to get some help.

So if you have LEDs, please post them, tell us what they are, and how much they were.

Thanks!

Truck-Lite (2nd Generation).

HUGE improvement over stock. Still getting used to the beam pattern, though. Still, a nice, wide pattern. The high beams are really great as well.

I've changed everything on mine to LED. I got the brake/front turns on eBay. I also got the reverse lights from eBay. My interior lights came from amazon, along with the license plate light and fender lights. I'm also running the Truck Lite headlights, and the JW Speaker fogs. As for Aux lights, right now I only have 2 pairs of 2" lights on the rigid A pillar mounts, but my 20" hood light should be here tomorrow, and I ordered my 50" and brackets earlier today. I'll see about getting pictures later, but most of what I have is already listed above.

This is the setup that I'm thinking about going with, on one hand it seems like it would be overkill, but on the other it seems like the more lights the better.
The only thing different I would have is the J.W. fog lights instead of the rigid duels.

I thought I'd come back and give a little more info on all the lights I'm running.

These are the 2" lights I've got. http://www.ebay.com/itm/251432978817

I'm running one pair of spots and another pair of floods mounted on the Rigid A-pillar brackets.

This is the 20" I ordered to run in the Rigid hood bracket. http://www.ebay.com/itm/301053217691

This is the 50" I ordered today, which I'll be running in the E-Autogrilles brackets. http://www.ebay.com/itm/360777090759

These are what I'm running in the front turn signals. http://www.ebay.com/itm/TWO-AMBER-N...Parts_Accessories&hash=item4861443ee0&vxp=mtr

And these are the Brake/rear turn signals. http://www.ebay.com/itm/TWO-RED-No-...Parts_Accessories&hash=item338ab0cc45&vxp=mtr

I haven't had any hyper flash or any other problems with these. Well, I have some problem, but nothing major. When it's well below 0°F I get a canbus bulb out warning for the first couple minutes the Jeep is running, but as soon as they get a little heat in them the warning goes away. The bulb never stops working, but the built in resistor doesn't like the cold.

These are what I have in my reverse light. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-x-High-Po...Parts_Accessories&hash=item27de13125d&vxp=mtr

I haven't had any problems with them, and I get loads more light out the back than with the stock lights.

I'm not sure if these are the exact light, but something like this is what I have in the dome light and reverse light. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H294NPA?ie=UTF8&at=&force-full-site=1&ref_=aw_bottom_links

These are what I have in the fender lights. http://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/wedge-bulbs/194-led-bulb-5-led-wide-angle-wedge-base/199/

These are the fogs I have. https://www.quadratec.com/products/97009_804X_PG.htm

And these are the headlights I'm running. http://www.discountfleetsupply.com/tlc27270c-p.html

I do have the trucklite anti flicker harness for the headlights as well.

How do you find those off brand LED light bars? Build quality etc etc.

This is getting insane :) We all spend bazillion dollars on the jeep and then go ahead and "replace" every fR%$%^#$^ component of it ... last year I finished off with Off road lights, rear backup lights and brighter headlights. NOW!! I'm replacing everything and going LED... I just installed TruckLite's upfront....of course I still have the fogs and back and of course the 2 mile long LED on the windshield :):atomic:

Rigid pillar d2s

IIRC rigid d2s are ~380$

going to get a cheap 50 inch for up top on ebay soon

#24 ·
I don't know if the rigid lights come with a complete harness or not, but most of the eBay lights don't. Even if they did, I would likely want to use my own stuff anyway. Aside from that, yes, the wiring is pretty straight forward. Use a switch to trip a relay and the relay to power the lights.

#25 ·
As for light output, here are some comparison pictures with my headlights. First is trucklite low beams, then high beams. Third is high beams with all 4 of my 2" eBay lights with the trucklite highs, and last is the 4 2" lights by themselves.

You are correct, but you also have to consider load on the alternator if you're planning on a lot of lights. The higher the wattage of the individual chip, the higher the amp draw. When I get all of mine and get them wired, I'll be drawing almost 50 amps just for lights., if I had all 5w per chip with the same amount of LEDs, I'd be drawing closer to 70 amps.

#30 ·
If you had 5w chips I bet they would give a lot more light with a lot less chips.

Think about it this way, 2 65w normal house lights next to each other are not going to give as much light as one 100w light and you are actually using less - correct?

Some of those bars have double rows of 3w LEDs and they will not be close to the single row of 5w LEDs.

#35 ·
I've seen a few people mention them, and I'm sure they're just as good as the trucklites, but I haven't seen any head to head comparisons. My biggest hold up would be the cost. You can get the trucklites with the antiflicker harness shipped for under $400 from discount fleet supply with the discount code. I don't know for sure, but I would assume you need the harness for the KCs too, so you'd be over $500 for them. It's not as big a difference as the JW Speakers, but I'm still not sure it's worth it.
