The main problem with the Tacoma and every other pickup is weight distribution. The V8 just makes the weight distribution worse. Traction is just as important as articulation when crawling. JK any day.

I would not trade my stock yoda for a jeep ANY day especially for the NEWER ones........ for functionality alone.

I still love my Jeeps.......

That yota would rock...if its got good articulation.
They are light even with a v8 compared to a jeep, good wheelbase, killer belly height....

I've run a slew of Toyotas and jeeps and love both. I'm loo, king for a gen 1 4runner to do a craw.er set up or a frame to Build a f-toy...
