Thanks right from the dealer - and Made in the USA. Unlike the factory
standard ones that are made in China???

I think they call is Sunburst Orange Pearl. It's actually nicer than in
the photos. Just got the 2nd coat of Zaino on it - and it really pops!

I had it parked out front of the restaurant that we went for dinner.
When we walked outside I handed her the keys, it was priceless! I had to hide it for 2 weeks.

The rims are out of the 09 Jeep Wrangler Accessories brochure from the
dealer. They are 18 x 8 I believe. They are made in the U.S. and the quality is better than on my 08 Z06 Vette rims. Very smooth flawless chrome finish.

The tires are 275 - 65 - 18. Goodyear MTR

Cool. Sorry but I have to ask because I want those yesterday. How much? Did the dealer give you a discount because of the economy.

No kidding? They've begun to make more tires for the 18's lately; nice.

Could you do a huge favor at some time and go out with a tape measure or yardstick and measure them? Asphalt to top of tire, for a real measurement.
The AT's in that size aren't a true 32" -- I'm hoping that an MT might come in at something close to a 33"...

I'll do that when I get home tonight for sure. They are supposed to be within 1/10th
of the stock size in height.

I got a good price - what they call "trade" price here, through a friend
of mine that owns a body shop. They were $320.00 Canadian each. which
would be about $250 U.S. They are pricey, but I can not stress how great
the quality is. Far better than the stock ones. Now I'll have 5 stock
rims and tires to sell. They are brand new, about 3 miles on them, as I
took the Jeep to the tire dealer to have the new tires installed.

I measured them, on the vehicle with 35 PSI and they are 31 and 1/2". I did have
them side by side with the stock ones at the tire dealer and they were just a shade
taller than stock, rims mounted, but not on the vehicle.

The Tirerack web site put them at 32.7" ??? Don't know how they measure....

Right; the websites are very optimistic about height with some brands.
Thanks.

I called the tire delear. His guide put them at 32.7 They must measure
them unmounted, off the car. It would not account for sidewall flex after
the weight of the vehicle is added.

That's probably it.
I have 265/70-18 on mine and expected them to be 32.6" --- they're not even 32" in reality.
I'm pretty sure that my next set will be 275/70-18 or 255/85-16 on different wheels. A true 33" will help on the roads I travel and won't need a lift.

I was poking around and found that BFG makes a 285 65 18 in their off road
series. I would have gone for them except I know the Goodyear guys locally,
and I've had good luck with the tires, and great service from them. I guess
I'm loyal to what works.

You must get into some real heavy mud. Nothing like that around here! Just snow.
