I've got 165k. Bought it recently. Hope it runs well over 229k. No warning signs yet! No smoke, minor drips but nothing major!

Mine dropped #3 piston skirt at about 175k or so and I babied it until around 215k or so before I replaced it. And I kept up on the oil changes and such so it was just part failure.
I can't complain about it though in 6 yrs of owning it it has been one of the most reliable vehicle I've had (knock on wood)

89k miles and I wouldnt trade it for all the 4.0s, I love my 2.5, when the guys with 6s and 8s are just spinning, its nice to just ease around them and keep climbing

I dont remember if I have ever posted my lil mall rated 4 banger. It rides on 31s with a BB, with several mods under the hood. Homebrewed cold/ram air intake, insulated air tube, bigger bore 4.0L TB, Custom 62mm over 55mm TBS, bored intake manifold @55mm, 42,000 volt accel coil, accel 8mm wires, NGK plugs slightly gapped at .040, magnaflow exhaust, and a factory trimmed lighter fan for now. She is a daily driver, some light offroad exploration. Shes pretty fast for a 2.5L. Wait pic is to big, let me find another.

A shot of the engine compartment on a stock 2.5L I4.

It has 147,400 miles on it - I bought it with ~ 120,000 miles on it just over three years ago. It has a bit of a tick. One mechanic said he doesn't think it will last another year, another mechanic said he thinks it will go another 15,000 or 20,000 miles. I almost pulled the trigger on a remanufactured engine last week, but I've decided to wait.

Here it is in my parking spot at work, in summer mode.

I will see if I can get a couple of pics of engine bay, its not much to look at really. Its not designed for show or nothing like that. To look at it looks stock other than the insulation on air tube. But I will try to get a couple of pics.

I just replaced the power steering sensor switch, which was dripping out of the plug. Now there are NO spots on the garage floor!

Here's mine. It does just what I need it to do. But I swear stepping down from 33x12.5x15s to a 245/75r16 was by far the best decision. Sure.. it looks a little goofy with a 4" lift, but it drives great on the highway and handles hills with ease.

It really doesnt look bad, I didnt notice the lift / tire ratio till you said something, and even still it doesnt look out of line.

Thanks. I really liked my 33's but just couldn't take the strain it was putting on her. And regearing just wasn't an option.

It's been great, 2nd season. O Nly thing I don't like Is Tscrew latch which Robert has changed but it's no big deal. Sure does save the rear door from tearing which it did on the factory tire carrier.
