4'' Lift and 35's DONE!!!

Well it took 12 easy hours for me and my buddies to complete the 4'' Rough Country Lift.

Then i went to the tire shop and they threw on a set of 35'' BFG KM2's

Here is the only pic i have right now its been raining. All i can say is i love it.

yes i took the spare off (it was a 32) and the jeep is sitting on the ground

looks good

did you put the 3" bump stops in or the 2" bump stops
I put the 3" bump stops in to keep the tires out of the fenders when I am off road

thanks for the compliments guys.....the km2's IMO are 10 times better than the old ones. but i have only had them for like 50 miles.

right now mr4x4 i am running the extended bumpstops that came with my 2'' budget boost i had on there before that.

i have plans of buying new 3'' or 4'' bumpstops here shortly.

i think it rides 10 times better than my 2'' skyjacker BB with their nitro shocks

lol well my kit started sagging a lot half a year after i installed it. i called up rough country, they send me new springs that i still have to install, or throw in the trash.. whatever works best.. but anyways they are in my closet resting..

...fyi, i bought my kit from JCwhitney...

ok. moving on, i talked to rough country and JCwhitney on a 3 way call about the shocks, i am like what are those things, they are made for an H2 or something not for our 3k lb wranglers. I showed them pics of them rusting and such too. I ended up getting some money back from jc whitney because i bought new OME shocks and gave them back the RC shocks that come with the kit.

I'm pretty happy now.. i mean i have OME shocks and brand new springs ready to install .

Kudos to your new lift, however i feel that you will be disappointed in the cushioning factor, I agree will triple88a, OME WILL, be the replacement for your lift shocks. no offense but they blow!!! Don't get me wrong , your ride looks sweet!!! but keep these woeds in mind

If you get any shots of the Jeep flexin throw them up here, I'm thinking 1 more inch of lift would really do it, but it looks like the backspacing is pretty good, it might tuck alright. Do you rub on anything at full turn?

as for the rims they were bought in that flat black color. there from Tire Discounters made by american racing. There brand is Rebel Racining. They werer like 80 bucks a pop.

Do you know what the backspacing is on the wheels?

If your going to buy a digital camera I suggest Canon. I have the Canon SD800 IS and it's great.

There SD series is nice, the IS stands for Image Stabilization and you can shake the hell out of the camera while your taking a pic and it comes out perfectly clear.

i've got the RC 4" kit too, it rides great in my opinion.

also, if you're using the shocks that came with your kit, the bumpstops are built in to them, no need to run stock replacements.

the wheel backspacing is 3.75 inches.

as for the shocks yes the 2.2 shocks have bumpstops built in but i also want to upgrade the jeeps bumpstops just so i dont tear up a shock by accident if i get a little crazy one day.

thanks for the camera pic....my old samsung preformed decent but the IS was non existent.

It comes in handy when your off roading and taking pics, or stumbling over rocks. I usually go to Best Buy and try it out then come online and find a better price. Let me know if you find one you like I'll take a quick look at my usual places and see if I can find you a killer deal.
