There's no reason for that silly sway bar or an Anti-Rock. I just took mine completely off with the RK setup. It was going to over flex the A/R and break it.

I drive around without the anti-sway bar (and the tires aired down to 10lbs) during wheeling trips, once I get to town and get it off the trailer, but when it's at home, I like the stability that I get when I have to stand on the stop pedal because some tool cut me off (I must be hard to see in the Jeep, that happens a lot ).

If you have to ask what it is or what it does, you don't need it, and you will need help to install it!

While I was away, the Jeep got a little surgery done. I haven't seen it yet, but here are a couple of pictures of the newly done wheelbase stretch. I am picking it up on Friday on my way up north to wheel it!

The new wheelbase is around 99". We (and by "we" I mean my buddy whose welding ability I trust my life to) were shooting for 100", but didn't want to cut the frame as much as would be required to mount the spring buckets. So it is just short of 99". I can't wait to see it!!!

Drop me a PM when you get your junk together, and I am around to go somewhere locally, if you still hit the place around the corner from me... Not much of a mud guy. I am still working on getting down to Black Mountain with you guys in August, just have to see how my schedule looks as the time gets closer.

Thanks, it's been under construction for a few years now, and every winter it gets torn down and taken off the road for a couple of months to do something to it.
