Any ideas on what motor to go with?

I am looking to to do a motor and transmission swap. Which would be the better motor to go with the 4.0L or the Chevy 4.3 vortech? I am new at the whole motor swap, I am still trying to get a list of everything I will need to do the swap.

You may get more respones in the tech section. But for simplicity, id do 4.0

both are great engine. the i6 is more of a lower torqued engine they say its way over built. the i6 would also be easier to swap in since the tj already came with them in it. ive always said if i do a swap out of my 4.0 id do a 3.9l cummins or a 305 chevy swap. i did have a 4.3 for my first car and it was a great engine. it even survived being in a totaled car twice, one front end head on and the other car it was in got flipped

I'd go with the 4.0 as well...easier to work on, easier for parts, stock fit...
