Getting a DOT tow rating is next to impossible for aftermarket bumper manufacturers. The cost of the rating alone being the largest factor.

All of our bumpers are hand build here in Kalamazoo Michigan. We make EVERYTHING in house! We don't have a DOT rating, however, with the extra frame tie in's our bumper with the built-in hitch will absolutely tow the full factory tow rating without an issue. We also have a built-in spot for the tow chains.

If I had the tools, I'd build something with good departure angle, tire carrier for up to a 37ish inch tire, highlift, maybe a Jerry can mount, d rings I can yank on, and a 2" receiver that can handle the 2000lb rating and maybe more with the flashers on. I just don't want to lose the strength of my reciever because I've used logging chain as snatch rope on the 10k recovery hook to rip up trees and wanna keep that haha! What do you have in that department?

I'm not sure if we have one for WF or not. Send an email to info@jcroffroad.com and if we do Al will send it to you!

We also are not far away from our huge annual Back in Black and Black Friday sales!

I'm guessing the bolt pattern didn't match up? What'd you do to convert that to ur tj? And what's the name of that bumper?
